Chapter 19 - Noble Vampyre Lily

Jensen walked around Lily's room for a bit but all he could find out was that she was tidy.

He even began to doubt the popular saying.

In the end he was bored so he simply sat down and watched.

The heat from the bloodline combination destroyed most of Lily's dress and scorched parts of the floor leaving her almost naked.

This was the third time he was seeing a woman's body all his life, and it all happened in less than two weeks.

Compared to Maria, Lily was less busty, but Jensen did not really care. To him limiting his taste to just one body type or race was very stupid.

He eventually fell asleep watching her.

*Next Day*

Lily's groans woke Jensen up, honestly hadn't expected it to take so long.

He couldn't even tell how long it had taken him since Xal'Zyraeth was manipulating time and even when he asked Xal'Zyraeth, he also didn't know.

Not only was his sense of time completely distorted but he also didn't really care enough to time the duration the transformation took.

Jensen watched Lily slowly get up from the ground, eyes wide as she stared at her hands totally ignoring the fact that she was naked.

He knew exactly what she was feeling… that rush of awe as strength surged through her body… because he'd felt it himself just a few days ago.

After examining herself for a while she finally came to her senses and frowned as she stared at Jensen confused.

Jensen could understand her confusion, so he answered her questions before she even asked.

"You must be wondering why I would give you such powerful and most definitively expensive item without an insurance?"

"You might be thinking there is a way for you to steal it for you… it best I just answer your question now." He honestly did not want any thought of rebellion to develop in her mind.

"Kneel." Jensen's eyes glowed red as he ordered.

Lily didn't even have time to process his order before her kneels slammed into the ground.

Her eyes widened in horror as she realised what these meant… this was no different from enslavement.

Just as Jensen mention, she was wondering what would stop from simply running off with the bloodline now that she had it.

Before she could think even further, she heard Jensen's voice as he continued.

"That's not all I can find you anywhere… it just a matter of how much effort and how long it would take so please… please don't stress me out."

Lily nodded, she was already in this ship anyway might as well get comfortable.

"My Lord, may I know what bloodline this is… I only know what my skills are." Lily asked cautiously.

"I guess you should get a simple rundown of the bloodline." Jensen nodded noticing the difference in her name for him.

"You just received the bloodline of a noble Vampyre. I have that of a royal, I believe you should understand what I am insinuating."

Lily nodded. Although she did not have access to any bloodline essence, she had read a lot about it while trying to find an option against her uncle.

First the blood essence could only be gotten from beasts' level 4 and above, and the limit of such bloodline is usually fixed unless evolved to a higher level with treasures.

One major issue and reason why people don't just get bloodline from random creatures to enhance their strength is the suppression.

Bloodline suppression could be determined by several things and all of them are interconnected.

The difference in level, the natural order on the food chain, difference in grade between bloodlines and race/subrace the bloodline comes from.

The difference in level is pretty self-explanatory.

The natural order on the food chain is something ingrained in the bloodline that can rarely be broken.

For instance, someone with a rat bloodline would feel fear that would naturally impede their fighting capability when faced with someone with a cat bloodline.

Difference in grade is the most important determinant.

Bloodline grades are divided into Common, Uncommon, Rare, Unique, Epic and Legendary Grade.

At least that was all the Human Alliance currently had.

The suppression between Legendary and Epic is several times greater than the suppression between Epic and Unique grade bloodlines.

Across species a difference of two grades would be hard to break loss from especially on similar levels.

Another important determinant is the race/subrace from which a bloodline is from the closer the subrace the worse the suppression.

For instance, An epic fire lion would have a good suppression on a Unique tiger but even higher suppression on a Unique Lightening Lion and even worse suppression on a unique grade fire lion.

This suppression matters because if you choose a bloodline that's naturally weaker… or worse, prey to someone else's… you're handicapping yourself from the start.

No matter how strong you get, facing someone with a suppressing bloodline means fighting against both your opponent and your own instincts.

And if you pick a bloodline too close to your original one?

The suppression is even worse, which is why most people don't risk it unless they are absolutely sure or that is their last option.

"May I know what grade of bloodline we have?"

"Yes, I have legendary grade while you have epic grade." Jensen lied through his teeth.

There was no way he would tell Lily the truth when he didn't fully trust her.

"What bloodline ability did you gain?" Jensen asked.

"Blood Cultivation, Blood Absorption, Blood Regeneration, Lesser Vampyre Creation, Charm, Blood Sense, and Vampyre Transformation." Lily immediately answered his question.

Jensen did not think she was lying, Xal'Zyraeth had mentioned that the progenitor had more abilities than he did and the nobles and commoners had even less.

'She doesn't have Thrall Creation, Berserk or Blood Storage' Jensen thought.

There was really no way to determine what ability she gets, the only thing he knew was the range that was available to her, which were the abilities he had.

He finally raised his head and caught her examining her teeth, "What are you doing?"

"I am checking for my fangs… I thought vampires have fangs."

Jensen's expression darkened and his eyes scrunched up as he snapped, "Don't you dare compare me to those lesser creatures."

His sudden outburst shocked, Lily causing her to flinch and he was just as surprised as she was, "Wait what the fuck just happened?"

"Oh, did I forget to mention the effect on your personality."
