After holding on to her wandering hands, keeping her from touching me in places that could easily awaken.

Claire continued to talk in a drunken mutters, she did so for about half the time it took to get back home before she finally slept off. Clutching tightly to my arm.
It felt incredible with her leaning up against me. Almost like we'd become closer in a sense but I knew this wasn't her, she was drunk and that was why she was this way.
In no time we got home. She still continued to sleep, I waited for a while, waiting for whether she would awaken anytime soon. She didn't.
"Do you need help getting her in, sir?" Caleb questions from the driver's seat, his eyes peering at me from the rear view mirror. I met him with a dangerous glare.
"I think I can handle my own wife, Caleb, thank you" I gritted out, "Infact, you may leave now."
"Yes sir," He must have understood clearly what that meant because he scurried off quickly.
