After understanding the difference between himself and other mages like Falion, Marcus knew that he needs to think and plan more when he meets with known characters.
"I suppose everbody who had some connection and intereaction with the Dragonborn are legendary and powerful people that far more powerful than the general warriors and mages."
"If my theory is correct, a warrior like Rolof and Hadvar are more than capable to fight against twenty men alone and not to lose."
"It is a little bit weird, but still the only thing that makes sense."
Marcus did not wasted any time and kept on focusing on Alchemy, meditation and use of his spells and control of Magicka studies.
The times passed, three weeks later, the shipment arrived and he delivered the potions.
In return, he took two hundred septims.
"Good."
"All the things considered, I have 225 Septims in my name."
In the last two weeks, his Alchemy upgraded again and he felt that it was even more easier to make more potions with more potent effects.
He also felt that due to his constant meditation and practice on Magicka Control, his spending when casting spells are reduced by %10.
Not that big of a deal but great for two weeks of practice.
"Now."
"I need to talk with Falion."
"I do not want to take classes from it, but if there are some spells that I can buy…"
"It would be great."
After, Marcus took the septims, he found Falion not much time later, sitting on a bench, drinking mead.
"Oh."
"Marcus." he said as he looked at him.
Marcus nodded back and said.
"Do you have any alteration spells that I can buy ?"
Falion nodded.
"I do have some spells that I dont need."
"Do you have any preference."
Marcus thought for a moment and kept his silence for two seconds. Falion smiled and said.
"Oh."
"By preference, I mean, the regional spells and differences."
"You know, the spells that are commonly used by the mages in Skyrim differ from the spells that are used in the High Rock or Morrowind regions."
Marcus thought for a moment and then said.
"I suppose I am okay with every region."
Falion nodded.
"Okay."
"I have Burden spell on myself."
"Stoneflesh, Candlelight, Magelight..."
"Oakflesh too."
Marcus took a deep breath.
"Can I ask you something free of charge ?"
Falion smiled.
"Depends on the question."
Marcus then tried his change.
"Burden spells increase the heaviness of the target, if I am not remembering wrongly."
Falion nodded.
"Yes..."
He then asked.
"Is there is range and selective targeting on that spell..."
Falion thought and then said.
"It depends on the caster."
"If the mage is powerful, they can cast the spell and manipulate to according to wishes."
Falion then could not help but think.
"Normally, I would not do this..."
"Come with me the outskirts of the city."
"It seems like your understanding of practical use of spells are much more different than general understanding and mastery over it."
Marcus let out a deep breath and said.
"Is it free?"
Falion laughed.
"Do not worry; I am the one who is inviting you."
Without further talk, Marcus followed to Falion to outkirts of the city.
Where there are no people or carriages passed, somewhat inside of the swamp.
Falion then spoke.
"Watch me."
As he said, while his hands behind his back, a portal to oblivion opened, similar to any conjuration spell and a conjure familiar creature manifested.
"Did you understand ?"
Falion then asked.
Marcus touched his chin and then said.
"The spell was not in your hand."
"I did not felt you casted any spell until it is completed and summon is manifested."
Falion nodded.
"That is the point."
"When you have enough mastery, you do not need to act to cast a spell."
"The range becomes not important to you."
"The limitations are broken or would not exist for you."
"For a novice-level conjurer, they need to cast the spell traditionally like everybody else does."
"But when you have enough power, one thought, one control of magicka, is enough to cast several or even hundreds of spells at the same time."
Falion then added.
"Do tell me?"
"If I want to cast the "Burden" spell on you, how would you block it?"
Marcus thought and then said.
"Casting a ward ?"
Falion nodded.
"That is a great answer."
"But, the wards are only good if you have enough magicka to power it."
"Also, even if you were to use "ward" do you believe, you can block my spells with pool of magicka."
Marcus thought and smiled.
"When you cast a spell, there is definite cost to it." Falion said.
Marcus nodded; he knew about this much.
Falion then smiled again, another familiar was summoned, this time, it was almost size of a gigantic wolf, a sabertooth.
"But, if you were to calculate and spend more magicka for the same spell, the spell would be improved leaps and bounds."
"You can use any type of Illusion spell or master-level spells on me."
"But, if you do not have magicka control and pool of magicka to be above mine, I can just use pure power to override."
Falion then looked at his eyes for a moment and Marcus dropped down to his knees.
"Now."
"I casted 'Burden' on you with just one look at your eyes as you can see."
"I spent, 100 Magicka on that Burden spells, while ordinary Burden Spells just cost ten magicka..."
Marcus nodded and felt the brute power of the magicka keep forcing him on knees.
Falion then added.
"If your Magicka Pool was high enough and you have a passive magicka barrier around you, you would not be effected by it."
"But, due to difference between you and myself is too much, I can just more magicka to attack your passive barrier or ward and still reach the same effect."
Marcus laughed and said.
"If you were to use, Burden with two hundred magicka points..."
Falion laughed him back.
"If I pass your magicka pool when using a spell and you do not have enhancted objects and other type of protective measures, a deal with daedre maybe."
"You would be crushed to death, as there would no magicka to protect you against my magicka."eyes,
