In the plane, they sweated profusely even though the temperature was 25 degrees Celsius.
The flight was mostly quiet, which made the two-hour ride feel longer. When they landed, a number of SUVs were already waiting for them.
In one of the cars Bryan was driving, his passengers were Nathan, Mark, Martha, and Amadeus.
"Take a left," Nathan instructed.
In about an hour they arrived at the building. It was still dark but it was almost 5am.
Amadeus got out, "See you inside," he said, and a set of Angelic wing popped out of his back.
A flap blew in a gust of wind that made the glass vibrate. The rest armed themselves and entered the building through the front door.
The moment they entered a loud siren rang out. They heard footsteps heading their way. Nathanial, James, and Amadues' men held their ground.
They waited for whoever was coming to the lobby. Mark and Nathan escorted Martha to the rooftop.
There was a tank that supplied water to the building's sprinkler systems. Their aim was for her to bless it and set the sprinklers.
They hurried to the elevator. Mark and Nathan pointed their guns at it as they waited for the doors to open.
As they waited they heard gun shots in the from the lobby. The sudden gunfire startled them. They regained composure just before the doors opened.
They fired at four guards who were in the elevator.
"These devil's trap bullets are really useful," Mark mentioned as they walked into the elevator with the demons who were frozen in place.
Nathan walked over to each one and stabbed them in the temple. The door opened and they walked out.
They looked around for Amadeus but he was nowhere in sight.
"Won't the holly water affect Amadeus too?" Mark asked as they walked to the tank.
"That's none of our business," Nathan said.
Martha started praying and minutes later they heard the elevator ding.
Mark and Nathan walked to the elevator with guns drawn. Before they got to the elevator a force brought them to o their knees.
"I knew I felt something between us. Always knew you would be back," Mazikean said as she walked towards them.
Mark and Nathan grunted as the pressure slowly crashed them.
"I see you brought some friends," Mazikean added.
Meanwhile in the building, Amadeus snapped the necks of Corvus' guards. A guard ran and punched him with a flaming fist.
"Why would you do that? You saw what I did to your friend," Amadeus said and slapped him with his backhand. The flame fist demon turned in the opposite direction.
An energy surged through Amadeus' all of a sudden. He turned around to see Corvus behind him.
"Where have you been hiding?" Amadeus asked just when he was about to charge at him, Corvus put out his hand.
Amadeus kept moving but slower than he had planned. He ran in Corvus and sent him flying into a wall.
"You dare challenge me. Even without a soul you think you are special," he said as he walked towards him.
Corvus got up and put his arms out like he was reaching out to Amadeus.
"Your telekenisis does not work on me," Amadeus said just before a table fell at him from behind. He turned and smacked it, shattering it into pieces.
He grabbed Corvus by the head and a bright light emanated from him. The blinding light burned Corvus from the inside.
He let go and he dropped like a rag doll.
