"It's working," Nathan said as he watched the ghosts burn up. Suddenly, a high-pitched screeching sound bounced off the cave walls.
The sound knocked them all out.
When Nathan woke up he noticed the others were gaining consciousness.
"Is everyone okay?" he said and walked to Jenny and helped her up.
He heard a bang and something sprayed down his back. The sharp pain made him reach for his back.
He turned to see Mark pointing his gun at him.
"What are you doing?" he asked and quickly reached for the gun. As he tried to point the barrel up, Mark fired.
Salt crystals blew up in his face. He stepped back and held his face. Using two fingers he squeezed out a salt crystal embedded in his cheek.
He turned and noticed the others were pointing their guns at him. He shielded his face seconds before they started firing. After a while, it stopped.
He ran towards Mark who was reloading. The others watched as he did and followed his lead.
Nathan wrestled the gun from him and then pistol-whipped him with it. He fell knocked out cold.
Someone suddenly pistol-whipped him too from behind. He stumbled forward holding his head.
He turned around and noticed it was Jenny.
Her eyes were dead, the glimmer she usually had was gone.
"Who are you?" Nathan asked.
"I'm Asa," Jenny said.
"Have you forgotten me already?" she added.
'The ghost that attacked me,' Nathan thought.
"They have all been possessed," he thought out loud.
"Sorry," he said and shot Jenny. She did not even flinch.
They all charged at him and in the struggle they all fell. Abed touched an iron chain bolted into the ground.
"What is going on?" he asked as he watched them struggle to restrain Nathan. He grabbed Bobby and Ingrid.
"What are you guys doing," he asked.
"He has been possessed," Bobby explained.
"No, they have rather been possessed," Nathan argued.
Abed looked around to draw his own conclusion. After only a minute he joined the others and held Nathan down.
'The chain must be made of iron,' Nathan thought, and steered the fight in the direction of the chains.
There were four chains at the base of the stones that held the stone slab. Two for restraining the legs the other two for the arms.
As they struggled, Bobby, Mark, and Ingrid grabbed a chain to restrain him. The metal released the ghosts freeing them.
With their help the restrained Jenny.
"There must be something still keeping them here," Nathan said as he looked around.
They he found it, a leather pouch full of teeth.
"Teeth don't burn," Jenny said.
Nathan placed the pouch on the floor and smashed it with a rock a couple of times.
"It worked I'm free," Jenny said.
The others were about to let go of her but Nathan advised against it. He placed the bag of powdered teeth in the stone coffin and set it on fire.
Jenny shrieked.
"I think it worked," Nathan said and they let her go.
