Adrian Shaw found that he had been especially unlucky these past few days.
He was in charge of supervising the completion of the new base.
Because of this, he had to travel back and forth between the shelter and the new base every day.
But the trips were fraught with incidents.
It was either brake failure or a tire blowout.
While walking outside the new base's walls, he was almost hit by bricks that fell for no apparent reason.
On his way back, he would be ambushed by mutated zombies.
And at this moment, he was standing on the wall, several meters high, inspecting the progress. Just as he straightened up, a powerful force suddenly shoved him from behind.
The force was immense and came without warning.
