A cold sweat had already broken out on Adrian Shaw's back.

Nina Jacobs took out a small bottle of styptic spray and tossed it to Adrian Shaw.

Adrian Shaw looked at the transparent, unlabeled spray bottle. Though his eyes showed a hint of suspicion, he used it anyway.
A fine mist settled onto the wound.
The wound, which had been stinging intensely, slowly began to feel much better.
"It was just a coincidence."
"I brought Treasure here today to get him familiar with the place."
"Treasure? The dog you brought back from Beldane Island?"
Adrian Shaw suddenly felt he ought to thank that dog.
Otherwise, he would have been dead for sure just now.
