"What is it?" Angela snapped.
She was already losing her patience. Karen had been working as Alexander's assistant for almost a year, yet she still hadn't managed to make him forget Alicia and fall in love with her instead.
"Alexander's wife's name is Alicia Sinclair, right?"
"Yes. Why are you asking?" Angela replied without thinking much of it.
"And she was pregnant when she left?"
Karen was only trying to confirm her suspicions, even though she had already heard the truth from Alexander's phone call.
"Why are you asking me all these questions?"
"Just answer me," Karen said, also beginning to lose her patience.
Angela was taken aback by Karen's tune but decided to let it slide.
"Yes, she was. Now tell me what happened."
Karen remained silent for a moment before finally speaking.
"I thought you said you were certain she wouldn't survive on her own because she had no one."
"Then why is she here in Rosewood Town?"
Angela's voice immediately turned urgent.
