Boom, boom, boom
"Are you sure you're ok with all that" asked Rias with a concerned voice
"Yeah I'm fine" replied Blaze, a backpack the size of a large boulder sitting on her back, the weight of which was causing Blaze's footsteps to crack rocks and leave indents in the ground with each step she took
"Ara ara, Blaze-chan is so strong" Akeno giggled
"Indeed, originally we weren't going to bring so much stuff as Koneko and Kiba could only carry so much but with you here we have been able to bring so many more things to help with the training" agreed Rias as they arrived at a large building "here we are"
"Wow, this is a nice place" said Blaze, taking in the sights
"Let's go inside and store all of the food and equipment we brought, then we'll gather in the living room so that I can explain the plans for this week, make sure everyone is wearing clothes that are easy to move around in" Rias said clapping her hands to get attention "There are rooms for everyone so choose whichever room you want"
After unpacking and choosing a room, Blaze got changed into some track suit bottoms and a tank top before going to the living room, within a few more minutes everyone had gathered and the meeting began
"Alright, to begin with we will check Blaze's combat abilities, she will go against Kiba, Koneko and Akeno, this will allow us to find out how she deals with different combat styles to figure out what she needs to work on, after that we will all be focusing on our different specialities with Blaze acting as a new sparing partner for Koneko and Kiba as they are already used to sparing against each other and giving them a new person to spar against will allow them to learn how to deal with different fighting styles" Rias explained "meanwhile Akeno and I will be looking through the details of Riser's team and will come up with countermeasures for them"
"Understood Rias buchou" responded Kiba
"OK..." replied Koneko
"The chance to use my lightning on someone new, sounds like fun" smiled Akeno
"Alright" shrugged Blaze
"Then let's begin then shall we" said Rias as everyone made their way outside
"First you will face Kiba" Rias informed Blaze "he uses swords and has the sacred gear 'sword birth' allowing him to create whatever demonic sword he can think of" she said as Kiba created a blunt sword to use in the spar
"Ready when you are" he said taking position
"Let's do this then" replied Blaze, her body instinctively taking a stance
"Seems like this isn't Blaze's first fight" said Koneko not knowing that actually it was as Kiba dashed towards Blaze
Waiting until he was about to make contact with his blade Blaze suddenly moved with incredible speed, dodging his strike and unleashing her own, hitting him with enough force to knock the air out of his lungs and make him unable to fight but not so much that he wouldn't be alright with a few minutes rest
"One strike" whispered Koneko
"Ara ara, seems like our friend here has been keeping secrets from us" sighed Akeno
"Yes, but this is a good thing, Blaze being stronger than we thought increases our chances of beating Riser" complimented Rias
"How did I do that" questioned Blaze
"A combination of a few things" explained Herm "I'm a greek goddess, even if I tried I wouldn't be able to avoid seeing people fight in ancient Greece so you have the knowledge of different fighting styles from me, the guy whose soul makes up part of you thought that if he was strong he was more likely to get a girlfriend so he did martial arts, becoming quite proficiant in a number of different styles before realising that girls don't actually care about that kind of stuff giving your soul an idea of how to use your body and the girl you are made from had to go through lots of physio therapy from a young age and was told how the body works and so essentially had a whole library sections worth of knowledge on how the body works, put all of those things together and you get you, someone who's never thrown a punch up until now but knows how to do so better than anyone else"
"So it's like I'm hard wired to be good at fighting"
"In a way yes"
"Cool"
The fight with Koneko ended in a similar manner, except since Koneko was more hesitant to get into Blaze's striking range Blaze went on the assult instead, moving faster than even Kiba had and ending things with a strike to Koneko's chin, knocking her out instantly due to the speed and precision of the strike
"Taking out Kiba and Koneko in a single strike each, it seems we have underestimated you" said Rias with a pleased smile, knowing that the stronger Blaze was, the greater her chances of getting out of her marriage
"It seems it is up to me to win back some of our pride as your seniors" chimed in Akeno, taking to the skies with her devil wings to signal the start of the battle, lightning gathering in her hands
"Uh oh" said Blaze, realising that she had a very obvious weak point as the lightning started raining down on her, trying to dodge what she could but still being hit by the randomly striking bolts
"What's the matter Blaze-chan, you looked so powerful earlier, why don't you come up here and make this battle a little more personal" teased Akeno, having realised the problem that Blaze had
"I can't, because I never technically reincarnated as a devil it means that I don't have wings and have no idea how to fly, and because I'm new to this world I don't no any magic either so I don;t have any long range attacks" Blaze cried, the lightning bolts that were hitting her being toned down so as not to hurt her combined with her innate defensive abilities and goddesses aura coming from her sacred gear mean she wasn't actually getting hurt but it still tingled
"Ara ara, then I guess I'll just have to keep punishing you until you give up then" said Akeno with a sadistic smile
"Alright Akeno that's enough" shouted Rias, stopping Akeno from going to far
"Alright, but Blaze-chan, if you ever want to feel the electricity between us again feel free to tell me" Akeno teased as she floated back down
"I'll keep that in mind" replied Blaze with a wry smile, still tingling a little
"Well it seems like the training for Blaze is decided" declared Rias "she will be helping Kiba and Koneko improve their fighting techniques for part of the training and the other part will be spent with me and Akeno learning magic which will allow her to fly and increase her attacking range, for now, everyone should rest to recover from the sparing session"
"I like the sound if spending time with the 2 girls, alone in a room with the 2 of them, pressing their bodies against you when you ask a question about a certain problem, one thing leading to another" fantasized Herm
"Am I not going to spar with you as well" asked Blaze, completely ignoring Herm's delusions
"There is no reason to" answered Rias "my fighting style is similar in nature to Akeno's in that I use magic from long range so the result would be similar" she informed Blaze "also it would be dangerous due to the destructive nature of my magic"
"Alright, that makes sense" replied Blaze before her stomach grumbled "any chance we could get some food before that, it was a long way here and combine that with how long it has been since I last ate I'm getting hungry"
"fufufu" chuckled Rias "of course we can, Akeno could you help me in the kitchen"
"Of course Rias, I suppose we should reward Blaze-chan here for fighting so well and carrying all the training supplies" she responded as they walked onto the kitchen
"In the meantime, Blaze you should probably get changed, Akeno's attacks may not have done to much damage to you but your clothes are looking a bit crispy and we don't want you to be smelling burnt clothes while you are eating" pointed out Rias with a teasing smile
Looking down at her clothes Blaze realised that she was right and so went to get changed
"Food being made on your orders, I wonder what else you could ask them to do and still get them to say yes" teased Herm
"Shut up" replied Blaze as she returned to her room.
