The Vampire King.
Around him knelt several elite vampires.
One spoke quietly.
"My lord… the lightning human has destroyed three hunting groups."
The Vampire King's bird like fingers tapped slowly on the armrest.
"…interesting."
Another vampire added:
"He moves alone. Strong magic. Storm-based."
The king's eyes narrowed.
"…a hunter."
He smiled faintly.
"…then we hunt the hunter."
He raised one hand.
"Send larger swarms."
The vampires bowed.
"Yes, my lord."
Day Three
Sam continued traveling.
He had killed dozens of mutants.
Completed several daily tasks.
His EXP climbed steadily.
He moved through the ruins of an old city.
Tall broken towers cast long shadows.
Wind howled through shattered glass.
Sam paused atop a collapsed building.
"Feels like something's off…"
His perception tingled.
But nothing appeared.
He shrugged it off.

Hundreds of red eyes opened in the darkness.
The hunter had arrived.
And the trap had sprung.

A hiss echoed from above.

Hanging upside down from streetlights.
"…that's… a lot."
They dropped.

Then waves.
They moved fast... faster than normal humans, agile, animalistic.. exactly like the vampires of the ruined world.
Some crawled on all fours.
Others glided briefly between buildings.
Several moved with disturbing jerking motions, like broken puppets.
Sam stepped back.
Lightning gathered around him.
"Alright… come on."
The first wave attacked.
Phase One... Swarm Pressure
Sam launched a wide lightning burst.
CRACK...!
Electricity spread across the street.
Six vampires convulsed and collapsed.
But more filled the gap instantly.
One leaped from behind.
Sam ducked.
Sword flashed.
SLASH.
Ash scattered.
Another grabbed his shoulder.
Its fangs nearly pierced his neck.
Sam discharged lightning point-blank.
The vampire screamed and disintegrated.
But they didn't stop.
They kept coming.
Relentless.
Animalistic.
Exactly like the feral vampire hordes shown in Adventure Time.
Sam jumped onto a car.
Then onto a streetlight.
Then onto a rooftop.
But several vampires followed....they climbed effortlessly, claws digging into concrete.
"Seriously?!"
He threw three mana bolts downward.

Still not enough.
Phase Two — Special Vampire Traits
Some vampires began using abilities.
One stretched its limbs unnaturally long... similar to the elastic distortion seen from the line of the The Fool.
Another moved in bursts of speed, blinking closer like the influence of the The Moon.
One attempted hypnotic eye contact... weaker than a Brain Beast, but still disorienting. reminiscent of the The Empress lineage.
Sam grit his teeth.
"Great… elite traits mixed in…"
He activated Full Body Lightning Enhancement.
Electricity coated him.
He jumped straight into the swarm.
Close Combat Chaos
He moved like a storm.
Sword slashed left.
Lightning burst right.
Mana bolt behind.
Kick forward.
Every motion efficient.
Every strike lethal.
But the numbers…
Were overwhelming.
They dragged him down.
Claws scraped his arm.
One bite grazed his shoulder... shallow, but painful.
Sam roared and released a circular lightning shockwave.

Twenty vampires exploded into ash.
He staggered.

Sam switched strategies.
He began funneling them.
He moved into a narrow street between two buildings.

Bodies turned to ash.
The street filled with gray dust.
He kept moving.
Kept fighting.
Minutes passed.
Then an hour.
Then more.
The sun shifted overhead.
Sam was sweating.

Was shrinking.
Final Wave
Only twenty remained.
But these were the strongest.
They circled him.
One lunged.

He gathered everything left.

He slammed both hands into the ground.

A massive lightning dome expanded outward.

Electricity engulfed the entire street.
Every remaining vampire convulsed.
Then turned to ash.
Silence fell.
The wind carried gray dust through the ruined city.
Aftermath
Sam stood alone.
Chest heaving.
Lightning fading.
Sword hanging loosely in his hand.
"…ha… ha…"
He dropped to one knee.
Then sat fully.
Then lay on his back.
"…two hundred… seriously…"
His entire body trembled from exhaustion.
Mana completely drained.
Mind tired.
Muscles aching.
But alive.
System chime echoed.
