The gym field at U.A. High School had finally quieted down.
Mostly.
A few students were still laughing.
Mainly because Ren was currently lying face-down on the running track after finishing his punishment laps.
"I didn't do anything," Ren groaned into the pavement.
Next to him, Kaito crouched down.
"You accidentally made a villain obsessed with you."
Ren lifted his head slightly.
"That sounds like something I didn't do on purpose."
Across the track, Denki Kaminari pointed dramatically.
"You broke her!"
"I DIDN'T BREAK HER!"
Eijiro Kirishima laughed.
"Bro she literally tried to stab Dabi because of you!"
Ren sat up.
"That is not my responsibility!"
A shadow suddenly fell over the group.
They looked up.
Standing there was Shota Aizawa.
He looked tired.
More tired than usual.
Which was impressive.
"Ren."
Ren slowly stood up.
"…Yes, sir?"
Aizawa stared at him for a long moment.
Then sighed.
"Follow me."
The class instantly reacted.
"OOOOOOOOOOO."
Denki leaned toward Kirishima.
"He's in trouble."
Kirishima nodded seriously.
"Major trouble."
Ren pointed back at them while walking away.
"This is NOT my fault!"
No one believed him.
Teacher's Office – 10 Minutes Later
Ren sat nervously across from Aizawa's desk.
The office was quiet.
Too quiet.
Aizawa took a slow sip of coffee.
Then spoke.
"You're going to fix this."
Ren blinked.
"…Fix what?"
Aizawa looked up.
"The villain problem."
Ren stared.
"…Excuse me?"
Aizawa slid a tablet across the desk.
On the screen was security footage.
Footage of Himiko Toga spinning around in the League base.
Holding knives.
And giggling.
Ren covered his face.
"Oh my god."
Aizawa continued calmly.
"She has attempted to stab three League members."
Ren peeked through his fingers.
"…How do you even have this footage?"
Aizawa ignored the question.
"She also carved your nickname into a table."
Ren groaned.
"Please stop saying it."
Aizawa leaned back in his chair.
"You caused this."
Ren shot up.
"I DID NOT CAUSE THIS!"
Aizawa raised an eyebrow.
"You chased her across campus."
"She was stalking me!"
"She thinks it was romantic."
Ren slowly lowered himself back into the chair.
"…I hate everything."
Aizawa folded his arms.
"You are going to meet with her."
Ren's eyes widened.
"No."
Aizawa didn't react.
"You are going to talk to her."
"No."
"You are going to convince her to stop stabbing things."
Ren stood up.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT."
Aizawa stared at him.
Then slowly activated his quirk.
His hair floated slightly.
Eyes glowing red.
"You are going."
Ren sat back down instantly.
"…Okay."
Aizawa turned the tablet off.
"We've arranged a controlled meeting."
Ren blinked.
"…We?"
Aizawa tapped his desk.
The door opened.
Walking inside was Nezu.
The small principal smiled cheerfully.
"Hello Ren!"
Ren pointed between them.
"You two are insane."
Nezu tilted his head.
"Possibly."
Aizawa continued.
"Kurogiri agreed to open a portal tonight."
Ren stared in disbelief.
"You're setting up a villain meeting for me?"
Nezu nodded happily.
"Yes!"
Ren grabbed his head.
"This school is crazy."
Aizawa stood up.
"You will meet Toga."
Ren slowly stood too.
"And if she tries to stab me?"
Aizawa shrugged.
"Don't get stabbed."
Ren looked horrified.
"That is terrible advice!"
Nezu added helpfully,
"Try running."
Ren stared at both of them.
"…You're both terrible adults."
Aizawa started walking toward the door.
"Meeting is tonight."
Ren followed slowly.
Muttering.
"This is how I die."
Behind them, Nezu smiled thoughtfully.
"This will be fascinating."
Meanwhile — League of Villains Base
Inside the dim hideout…
Tomura Shigaraki sat on the couch.
Watching Toga run in circles.
Holding a knife.
Dabi leaned against the wall.
"Told you she broke."
Toga spun happily.
"Renny Penny~!"
Shigaraki groaned.
"We need to get her out of the base."
Dabi nodded.
"Send her on the date."
Shigaraki rubbed his face.
"…Yeah."
Across the room, Kurogiri calmly opened a portal.
"Your meeting awaits."
Toga gasped.
Her eyes sparkled.
"REN?!"
She jumped through the portal instantly.
Dabi looked at Shigaraki.
"…This is going to be a disaster."
Shigaraki nodded.
"Definitely."
Back at U.A. — Evening
In a quiet courtyard…
Ren stood nervously under the lights.
Aizawa leaned against a nearby wall.
Watching.
Waiting.
Ren whispered,
"I hate this."
Then—
A dark portal opened.
And someone jumped out.
Blonde hair.
Wild grin.
Knife in hand.
"RENNY PENNY!"
Ren screamed.
"AIZAWA HELP—"
And Toga launched herself at him.
