Chapter 53 - Chapter 53 Xie Huanyue

Hearing the door open, a chubby figure immediately turned his head.

It was a youth with an honest face, slightly dark skin, and a round build, yet his movements were not clumsy.

Seeing Caelus, he froze for a moment, seemingly struck by Caelus's outstanding appearance and temperament, but then a warm and simple smile appeared on his face as he raised a hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead and greeted him proactively:

"Hello, I am Xie Huanyue from freshman class two. It seems you are my roommate."

Caelus's eyes flashed slightly, and he instantly retrieved some information about this chubby youth from the corners of his memory—a rare Martial Soul with both defense and agility, the Pipi Elephant.

A gentle smile also appeared on his face as he walked into the room and closed the door behind him:

"Hello, I am Caelus from freshman class six. Thank you for your hard work; let me help as well."

He looked around the double dormitory.

Although Shrek Academy was wealthy and imposing, it certainly wasn't generous regarding living conditions for the vast number of Outer Court Disciples.

After all, the turnover of Outer Court Disciples was high, and those truly regarded as the core, upon whom resources were poured, were the elites who entered the Inner Court.

Therefore, the dormitories were standard double rooms; they were not large, the furnishings were simple, and two beds, two desks, and two wardrobes were all there was.

Not to mention comparing it to the Listening to Snow Pavilion in Star Luo City, which was comparable to a noble's villa, it was even inferior to the conditions of the single dormitories at the Star Luo Elementary Soul Master Academy.

However, Caelus did not care about this at all.

He had not come here to enjoy himself in the first place.

If it were about enjoyment, staying in Star Luo City with Xu Jiujiu's care, what top-tier treatment would he not have?

He had come to Shrek Academy with only one goal—to constantly climb upwards until he eventually became the master of the sea gods pavilion and completely controlled this number one academy on the continent in his own hands.

The simplicity before him was merely an insignificant interlude in the process of achieving his goal.

Seeing that Caelus offered to help, Xie Huanyue naturally wouldn't refuse and handed over a clean rag with an honest smile:

"Hehe, that's great. This is work that both of us should be doing anyway. I've already wiped most of it by myself; only some corners and the dust in high places are left."

Caelus took the rag but didn't start immediately.

His thoughts stirred, and an invisible current of Qi seemed to begin swirling around his body.

He raised his hand and gently waved it toward the corners, cabinet tops, and window frame crevices in the room that were difficult to reach.

The next moment, Xie Huanyue opened his mouth wide in surprise.

He saw that the accumulated dust and small debris, as if gently brushed by an invisible pair of hands, separated from their surfaces one after another. As if guided, they gathered into a small ball and then floated lightly into the trash bag that Caelus had already prepared.

Throughout the entire process, not a single speck of dust was raised, and nothing was touched. His control over the air currents had reached a breathtaking level of subtlety.

In just a few breaths, the entire dormitory became bright and clean, spotless, and even the air felt much fresher, as if it had just been thoroughly cleaned.

"This... this is too convenient."

Xie Huanyue watched, dumbfounded, and then scratched his head in frustration with a bitter face.

"If I had known your Martial Soul ability was so powerful, I wouldn't have had to suffer like that just now; my waist is almost breaking."

Caelus smiled without explaining much, simply tying up the trash bag and placing it by the door.

He walked over to his bed and took out bedding, toiletries, and all other daily necessities from the storage spirit tool that Xu Jiujiu had prepared for him.

These items were made of exquisite materials and fine craftsmanship, forming a sharp contrast with the simplicity of the dormitory, silently highlighting his extraordinary background.

Xie Huanyue looked at the items Caelus took out, which were obviously of great value. He blinked but didn't ask further, just smiled honestly and began to organize his own luggage.

In his heart, however, he felt more curiosity and respect for this roommate with extraordinary temperament and seemingly unfathomable strength.

Caelus nimbly made his bed and arranged his personal items neatly.

After finishing all this, he looked at Xie Huanyue, who was also almost done packing, and extended an invitation:

"Xie Huanyue, shall we go get something to eat? I'll call a few friends along the way."

Xie Huanyue naturally agreed readily: "Sure, I'm just getting hungry."

Caelus took out the exquisitely styled communication spirit tool that Xu Jiujiu had prepared for him and contacted Lan Susu, Lan Luoluo, and Ye Guyi respectively.

Before long, the five of them successfully met at the entrance of the freshman dormitory building.

When Xie Huanyue saw that the "friends" Caelus spoke of were actually three young girls with excellent appearance and temperament, especially since there was a pair of cute twins among them, he was clearly stunned, and an expression of astonishment appeared on his round face.

He secretly cast a glance at Caelus, mixed with surprise and admiration, as if saying: "Buddy, you're awesome!"

Caelus briefly introduced both sides:

"This is Xie Huanyue, my roommate. These three are Lan Susu, Lan Luoluo, and Ye Guyi; they are all freshmen who enrolled with me."

After getting to know each other, the group walked toward the canteen located behind the dormitory area.

The freshman canteen was a large, independent building with a spacious interior, large enough to accommodate all freshmen dining at the same time.

However, upon walking in, the scene inside left everyone except Caelus somewhat stunned.

The interior of the canteen was unusually simple, or one could even say crude.

Looking around, there wasn't even a single table or chair for people to sit and eat.

There was only an area for washing trays on one side, and on the other side was a row of eight windows selling food.

Above each window, menus and price tags were clearly hung.

From left to right, the dishes gradually became more exquisite, and the prices increased accordingly.

The leftmost window only provided the most basic steamed buns, green vegetables, and a small amount of meat, with very low prices, while the rightmost window supplied expensive set meals containing the essence of Soul Beast flesh and blood, which were slightly beneficial to a Soul Master's Cultivate.

Caelus glanced at the prices, his expression unchanged.

He was never short of money; the Star Luo Imperial Family, especially Xu Jiujiu, had never treated him poorly in terms of material needs.

He smiled and said to the four people beside him: "Since we are new here, this meal is on me; don't be polite."

After saying that, he walked straight to the rightmost window.

"Please, five Grade A set meals."

He crisply and efficiently paid the gold coins that would make an ordinary family gasp.

Xie Huanyue rubbed his nose and smiled honestly: "Then thank you, Caelus. I'll treat next time."

Ye Guyi also nodded slightly, not refusing pretentiously. She had a straightforward personality and felt that reciprocity was natural.

However, when they were holding the expensive meal boxes with solid ingredients and appetizing aromas, they discovered an awkward problem—there were no seats in the canteen, and it was explicitly stipulated that food could not be taken out of the canteen.

Thus, the five young Geniuses who had just enrolled and should have been in high Martial Souls could now only, like ordinary laborers, hold their meal boxes, stand in place, and somewhat helplessly begin to deal with this "standing meal."
