Jay-jay's POV:
"Rain rain go away... Come again another day.... Little Jay-jay wants to play.... Rain rain go away..." I was singing as I walked.
It was still raining, but not as heavily. It was just drizzling, and the sun was peeking out a little, but it would rain heavily again at times. It was confusing, right?
When I entered the room, it felt like someone had died----the whole Section E was so serious. Everyone had such serious expressions. Ci-N was the first to approach me.
"Jay... Keifrr asked for you to go to Guidance." She said seriously.
I immediately got nervous. It felt like a serious issue. Why would we be called----oh no! Could it be because of the fight we had with Section D?! Oh no!
I saw Keifer stand up from his seat and walk over to me.
"Let's go, se we can get back quickly." He said as he walked ahead.
Before following, I glanced at Yuri, who was also looking at me. We had made a deal.
I ran to catch up with Keifer, who was walking fast. The hallways were long. The Guidance office was in the new building, so everyone could see us.
We stopped in front of the door. I took a deep breath to gather my courage. Here we go again, I had to face this.
"You go ahead..." I ordered Keifer.
Heh... I was nervous.
"Tss." Keifer replied.
The magical 'Tss' of Keifer.
He knocked on the door before opening it. We were greeted by the assistant of Ma'am----our Guidance Counselor, whose name I always forget.
"Please have a seat." The assistant said.
It seemed like they were expecting us. She didn't even ask what we were there for.
She went into another room, and it took her a few minutes before she came back out.
"You can go now." She told us.
As usual, I let Keifer go first. When we entered, I froze. The two students from Section d, the ones I fought with-----were sitting there, and their guardian was with them.
"Please sit down." Ma'am Reyalidad ordered.
Thank goodness for name plates.
We sat on the bench across from the two of them. Their arms and legs were in casts and cement. Keifer did that!
"Would you like to call your guardians?" Ma'am Reyalidad asked as she slid the phone towards us.
Keifer shook his head, and I did the same. Who would I call here? Kuya Angelo? No way, he'd scold me! Definitely not!
"Let's get started..." Ma'am Reyalidad began. "Mr. Dela Cruz, can you tell us what happened?"
I saw the one with the cast on his leg look at his guardian before speaking. Admit it! He's getting strength from his guardian.
"We were smoking behind the gym when suddenly Jay came up to us. We asked what she was doing there and told her to leave. Out of nowhere, she punched and kicked us. We tried to fight back, but she's a girl, so we couldn't really hurt her. We tried to stop her, but we just kept taking punches and kicks. The Keifer showed up and did this to us." The one with the cast on his leg recounted.
I suddenly laughed. I knew I was going to get scolded, but u couldn't hold it in. Even Keifer laughed too.
"Hahahahahaha.....hahahahahaha..."
What a story! They could be writers with that long explanation. A lot of things were added and taken out.
"Ms. Mariano..... Is there something funny?" Ma'am Reyalidad asked authoritatively.
I just shook my head and looked down.

Ma'am turned back to the two of them. "Mr, Marquez..... Do you agree with what Mr. Dela Cruz said?"
The one with the cast on his arm looked at us before nodding. Oh, so you're going to admit it now!
"Clearly, you hurt a student. The result was a fracture, and one of them is still in the hospital." Ma'am said to us.
"Mrs. Reyalidad. We went these kids expelled," Said one of the guardians.
Expelled?! Just like that? Can't they just be suspended first? These guardians are way too harsh!
"Mrs. Dela Cruz, we don't immediately grant explusion....." Ma'am replied.
I breathed a sigh of relief. I thought Kuya was going to be mad at me.
"..... But in Keifer's case, expulsion is very much possible," Ma'am Reyalidad added with a smug smile.
I glanced at Keifer. He didn't look scared, but I couldn't read any anger from him either. It was like he expecte Ma'am to say that.
Is this why Yuri wanted me to take the blame? So Keifer would be removed from school? If Keifer knew this was going to happen, why did he help me? He should have just called someone else or let me handle it.
".... So Mr. Watson, I want you to call your guardian so we can talk about this."
Keifer just started at the phone.
Keifer...
"Wait a moment, Ma'am...." I started. ".... What if Keifer didn't actually do anything to them?"
All their eyes turned to me. My heart started racing. I needed to think of a reason. This was my chance for them not to believe the story.
"Ms. Mariano... If you're trying to cover for Mr. Watson---"
"I'm not covering for him..... What I'm saying is the truth. I'm the one who did it to them. Keifer just came to pick me up and stop it."
"I understand, but please don't take offense, but you're a girl and it's hard to believe a girl could do this to my son," one of the guardians interrupted.
I didn't respond. "Ma'am Reyalidad, I know you know my records from my previous school. So you know that I'm capable of doing that."
Ma'am didn't speak. She just started at me. Ugh! I didn't want to bring up my records, still staring at me.
"Ma'am! Don't believe her! She's just covering for Keifer!" The one with the cast on his arm shouted. I think his name was Marquez.
"I'm not covering for him!"
"Liars! He's the one who did this to me!" He shouted, pointing to his arm.
"Why would Keifer do that to you?" I asked.
He couldn't answer. Because you hit me with wood and planned to do it again, but Keifer caught you. You can't say it, right?!"
I grinned. I think I asked the right question. So he just kept quiet.
"Mr. Marquez... Was Keifer the one who did this to you?" Ma'am Reyalidad asked him.
He didn't want to answer, but it was obvious he was being forced to. "I-I mean Jay-jay did it..."
"Then Ms. Mariano, please call your guardian... I need to speak with them about your expulsion." Ma'am Reyalidad said.
Oh no! I didn't think of that!
I took the responsibility, so the punishment was mine. I'm so stupid, Jay! I'm in trouble with Kuya Angelo.
Even though I really didn't want to, I called the house number. I should have just asked Tita to come, but now I had to call him.
["Hello?"]
Oh no! Bad luck! It's Kuya Angelo's voice on the other line. I'm so dead. Why did he have to come home now?
["Hello?"] He asked again.
"Hello..... Kuya, this is Jay-jay." I replied.
My heart was pounding. I could already imagine what he would say.
["Jay? What's going on?"]
"Well....." I looked at them all. It was a bit awkward. "... Can you come to school?"
Even though I didn't plan on calling him, he was still coming.
["Jay....."] He said, disappointed.
He already knew why. I got even more nervous.
"Uhmm...."
["Okay...I'm on my way."]
He hang up the phone, and I did the same. I looked at Ma'am.
"He's on his way." I said.
I looked at Keifer, who was staring at me intently. No reaction. It was like he was waiting for my reaction. I didn't know whether to smile at him to say I'm okay, but I wasn't okay...
I wasn't afraid of the expulsion. That's been happening to me at my old school, but it never went through for reasons I didn't know.
Even though I knew it was going to happen this time, I wasn't scared. What scared me was Kuya Angelo's anger. He once threw a chair at the hospital in anger because of me.
Sigh...
We waited for about 20 minutes before Kuya arrived. When the door opened, Ma'am Reyalidad and the two students from Section D looked like they saw a ghost.
He didn't look angery, but he was very serious. He looked at us and then at Keifer.
"M-Mr. Fernandez..... Please sit down." Ma'am said, her voice a little shaky.
Was Kuya scary? I guess, I'm scared of him.
"Okay. Can you tell me why you called me here?" Kuya asked directly.
Ma'am looked at me before answering him.
"Ah, well.... There are complaints from the guardians of these students." She pointed to the two.
Kuya looked at them, then back to us. "Who are they complaining about? Jay-jay or Keifer?"
I looked at Keifer. How does he know this guy? Wait, is he the Mr. Fernandez Ma'am mentioned earlier? I thought it was Aries, since they're the ones I know to be close. So Kuya Angelo knows him too.
Keifer avoiddd looking at him. It was clear that he wasn't happy that Kuya was here.
"Actually, both of them are being complained about, but Ms. Mariano is taking responsibility for the incident." Ma'am explained.
"I want to discuss what happened. I'll be accountable for whatever they did."
Suddenly, Keifer stood up and glared at Kuya. "I don't need your help, and besides, Jay-jay is the only one with the issue, not me." He said and walked out of the Guidance office.
Are they close? Why did Keifer act like that toward Kuya?
