Chapter 17 - Rebirth Through Poison and the Path to the Red Star

Tinibras had swallowed the poison pill—one of the deadliest toxins ever known. The moment it spread through his body, his face darkened, his eyes lost their clarity, and he collapsed to the ground, clutching his stomach as if his insides were being torn apart. Blood began to pour from his lungs, for the pill shattered every bone in his body, dissolving them until nothing remained.

No one could withstand such a poison unless they had already endured three prior trials. These pills were classified into five types based on color, each with a unique effect:

Blue shattered bones,

Yellow melted the skin,

Red destroyed the soul,

White burned the internal channels,

And Black—the most dangerous—was tied to dark magic, with many other hidden uses. There were also other colors that served different purposes.

Tinibras writhed in agony for three days until the last bone in his body was crushed. After that, he spent days—no, months—rebuilding his bones from nothing, channeling energy from the outside into his core. With each cycle, a spark of energy reignited within him, slowly reshaping his skeletal structure.

After enduring unimaginable suffering, Tinibras completed the fourth trial. He felt as though he had been reborn. Gradually, he began moving, performing light exercises to restore the flow of blood through his veins and adapt to his new body.

Only two stages remained.

He spent some time resting inside a storage chamber, reading books during his quiet moments while consuming energy pills and herbal medicines. Once his rest was over, he advanced to the fifth trial—The Trial of the Entity.

He entered the corridor, but there was no training chamber. Instead, a manuscript was carved into the wall, written by an unknown figure:

"Congratulations to any trainee who has reached this stage. The fifth trial is the Trial of the Entity. It is a practical trial based on direct combat, where you must merge the spirit, the body, and the heart into a single force—delivered in a single strike."

Tinibras read the inscription several times until he fully grasped its meaning. Without hesitation, he moved on to the final stage—The Sixth Stage: The King.

He found a strange room filled with incomprehensible symbols and markings. At its center lay another manuscript. He sat down and began reading:

"The final trial is not about power… it is about reaching the truth of all things."

Tinibras paused. The words were vague and difficult to understand. He continued reading and discovered that it was a message addressed to the future. The writer spoke of evil forces that wished harm upon the world, and how everyone sought power, chasing certain points scattered across the world.

Among these points… the Red Star.

The writer continued:

"I am that star, created by an evil scientist 240 years ago in Salimar… a man named Kabur. He was one of the scientists responsible for the destruction of the world, after discovering that stars are formed through the laws of mathematics and astronomy… and that behind them lies a great secret."

Then the message ended.

Tinibras remained silent, his face filled with astonishment. He felt that the writer was not lying, but revealing a hidden truth about the world.

At that moment, he made his decision.

He left the cave… and made the Red Star one of his next goals. 🔥
