— Post Spring Break, General POV —
A few months passed without major issues. The second semester started, and the Spring Break came and went. And finally, there was a new update to the Top 10!
Adem has gotten to the 7th spot, but the biggest change was that Luke had gotten into the ranking as well.
While it is fairly common for a freshman to break into the Top 10, two of them doing so is quite rare.
And where were these two freshmen right now?
*POW*
Adem took a step back as he got punched by Luke. The punch felt far stronger than his regular ones.
"Damn! That actually hurt! Am I bleeding? No- No of course not. But damn, that actually hurt. What have you been doing during the Spring Break?" He asked as he rubbed his nose.
"Push Ups, Sit Ups, and Plenty of Juice!"
"Oh good, you at least watched Dragon Ball Z Abridged!" He said before flying into Luke and punching him hard enough to knock him on his ass. "But I'm still stronger." He said with a grin as Luke laid there. Once again defeated.
'Even after the experiments he is stronger than me?!' Luke asked with minor annoyance.
While this was going on, Brink recorded their progress. 'Hm… Adem has been getting stronger every day naturally thanks to the training program we prepared for him. Luke's enhancements seem to have finally kicked in as well. But, even with that he is not quite as strong. His durability- while high- is lackluster compared to Adem. The only person in class who comes close to that level of invulnerability is…'
His eyes then wandered to another spar. Jordan turned from his male form into her female form and blasted Andre away.
'Jordan has progressed quite a bit as well. He is using both aspects of his powers now. Although she has a tougher time with the female aspect as she did not use her powers as much growing up. On the other hand, Andre hasn't improved much. Not surprising considering unlike every other Supe in the class he had received near optimal training since childhood thanks to his father, so he doesn't have substantial improvement now.'
Then he looked at one of the most dangerous Supes on the planet. 'Cate is what I call a glass cannon. With one touch, she can end almost any fight. She also possesses telepathy, so she can read her opponents quite easily. But she is still one of the physically weakest Supes I have trained. Years of living in her room and not training would do that to a Supe I suppose.'
"Alright everyone! Good work out there! Hit the showers!" Brink said as he dismissed the class. He then pointed towards Jordan, "Jordan, come here for a second."
"Yes Professor Brink."
"You have shown most progress amongst anyone in class." He said but she felt like he was exaggerating,
"Adem and Luke are far ahead of me." She said with a little scowl.
"I never said they weren't. They are. But your progress is greater than theirs. That shows your dedication and hard work. Qualities I value greatly." Brink put a hand on her shoulder. "That is why I have a proposition for you. Starting next semester, I want you to be my TA. You will receive extra credit, of course, and a small pay but more importantly I will have your back."
She raised an eyebrow at that, "What do you mean?"
"Jordan, you are a smart guy/gal/they." Brink said and Jordan understood.
Brink meant that they would face hardships by the board, especially during the upcoming rankings. Considering there will be 4 students from Top 10 graduating at the end of this semester, it was very much possible for her to get there, but the board wouldn't let a strange- and fairly unmarketable Supe be part of the Top 10. Especially since there were quite a few students far stronger and marketable than her.
"Professor Brink, I don't know what to say."
"Just say thank you," Brink said with a small smile which Jordan returned.
"Thank you."
— In the Boys Locker Room —
"Apparently the newest member of the Seven is a chick called Stormfront. She is kinda like Luke, but with lightning instead of fire. And unfortunately she doesn't go fully naked every time she uses her powers." Tyler said
"Really now? Then our local stripper might wanna take a few lessons from her." I said, getting a nod from Tyler. And a small laughter from everyone else as Luke threw his shirt at me, but even he had laughed a little.
Adem then reached for my phone and googled Stormfront.

She was quite good looking, but nothing to write home about. Especially considering average Supe could pass for a model.
Apparently Stormfront was a Supe in Philly, pretty popular in her local area thanks to being a Flying Brick, and from the videos he could see of her, she was indeed powerful.
"She is like a Genderbent Shazam," he mumbled.
"She is kinda cute right? I'd fuck her." Tyler said, getting an eye roll from Adem.
"You'd fuck a tree if it had a hole," he said getting a shrug,
"If it had a little bit of curve, maybe." Tyler said
"She seems to have done good work in Philly," Luke chimed in. "I think she'll do great in the Seven."
"Can't be worse than Deep, or Translucent for that matter…" Steve said before his eyes widened, he looked around but didn't see anything then got even more worried.
"Don't worry, Maverick isn't here," Adem clarified.
"Oh thank god," Steve mumbled. He did not want to call out the guy's recently deceased father to his face. That was kind of a dick move.
"She has over 100 Million followers on Instagram alone." Someone else added,
Social Media followers were pretty much useless as far as Adem was concerned. He didn't even have an Instagram- or any other social media account. Just one unanimous YouTube account.
"Anyways, I assume she is officially replacing Translucent. So they are probably looking for a replacement for the Deep. Do you think any of the graduating Top 5 have a chance?" Jordan asked.
"No. The Current Number 1 is Speedster. And they wouldn't replace A-Train after he just set a world record in his race with Shockwave. And the Seven wouldn't take Number 2 over Number 1." Andre adds his two cents.
"Can't they have 2 Speedsters?" Jordan asked
"They can, but unlikely. Having two Supes with the same power doesn't add much, so hero teams tend to not have them." He explained
That made a lot of sense. Then eyes wandered towards Adem, but he just shrugged. Honestly, there were always exceptions. So who knows, he might join the Seven come graduation time.
*Ding*
He just got a message. It was from Cate. She had sent him a picture… one where she was just in her underwear.
"I gotta go…"
