The balcony felt like stepping into a fairy tale when Sebastian guided me there, his palms warm against my closed eyes. His voice carried that hint of mischief I'd grown to adore, and when he finally murmured, "Open them," the sight before me stole every breath from my lungs.
Dozens of candles in various heights created a constellation of flickering warmth, their golden glow dancing across our best china arranged on the intimate table. The perfume of fresh roses wove through the air with hints of vanilla from the surrounding candles, creating an atmosphere so achingly beautiful my eyes immediately welled with tears.
This wasn't simply a romantic evening. It represented so much more than that. It was our testament to endurance, to healing, to finding our way back to each other after weathering the storm. It celebrated every battle we'd fought and every promise yet to be fulfilled.
