My list of people to murder just got more dangerous.
I didn't have time to cry, I didn't have time to mourn, I had to get myself back together, no matter how impossible that felt..
So, choking down my sobs, I called out to my weeping aunt..
"Aunt V." My voice was subdued, vulnerable in a way I'd never heard before..
She noticed.
Her hug tightening around me..
"Yes little D?" Her hoarse voice answered me..
"If they could find dad, then what about me?" I asked.
I had to know.
If the Draken family could find my father, if they could meticulously plan to get him killed like so, then it was illogical to leave me be..
