I couldn't understand it..
The physical pain hadn't even registered, the pain I felt now was more brutal, a soul crushing pain that threatened to unravel my entire state of being..
It was so bad I'd subconsciously prevented Chaotic Denial from doing anything, I'd rather die than live in a world where what I was dreading actually happened..
Why? My own aunt v? This must have been a nightmare..
my shaky eyes rose, dread rising sharply within me as I met her gaze, but what I saw made all thoughts within my head pause..
My aunt's eyes had disappeared, what remained were nothing but twin black holes that rotated in on themselves, the surrounding atmosphere being sucked in helplessly as she regarded me with a manic smile that threatened to split her face.
I could hear simple mutterings that made zero sense.
I leaned in, the pain taking a backseat..
