I finally cracked my eyes open, trying to get some excitement flowing through my bones after hearing Valen's announcement, no dice, the encounter with that demon seemed to not only have put me in a very nasty mood, but it seemed to have also taken away all the excitement I had about joining Aeternum, atleast for today..
So, instead I decided to just watch others crack at it.
Yet, strangely, it wasn't the rush hour I was expecting.
I'd expected for candidates to start throwing challenges left and right, especially with the conditions of being able to consistently challenge a single elite class candidate, yet no one seemed to be in any particular hurry..
The cliche I was sure was going to happen, the one about stuck up young masters feeling too good to be placed below others, didn't happen, it seemed either most were content with just getting in, or like Valen had said, they didn't believe the instructors of the academy would've chosen wrongly.
