The old weapon replied.
"Then how would he lose?"
"Because strength isn't the problem, against overwhelming power, little Valen wins."
The aged voice paused, its intent falling on both men, as they felt the stare of eyes that were ancient and timeless fall upon them, before the weapon finished its word, the contents no less shocking than before,
"But against whatever it is that little boy is carrying around casually?"
"Given enough time, everyone loses."
