Clad in an immaculate black suit that gave him a more than sophisticated air, crossed one leg over the other as he leaned his chin on an arm.
"You bring me this report now? After days of waiting?" His voice came out cold, flat.
"My lord. There were some… complications on my way back." The man, Caris Von Draken, answered nervously.
"Complications you say? Well, I'll like to hear just what sort of complications prevented you from bringing word of what I sent you too, only now coming to me when Enviria is already up in flames."
"Wha.. what?" Caris froze at that revelation.
"Oh. You didn't know? And you say you were in Enviria? Interesting."
