"Hey, Diana."
I said it while drawing a smile on my face, looking at her with that stupid smile. I was not nervous about seeing her.
I was just hoping she did not hear anything this morning. Nothing else. The possibility alone made my stomach twist uncomfortably.
"Do not 'hey' me, Eva."
Huh? What was with that attitude? Her tone sounded like I stole her crush or something personal and unforgivable. I expected 'Hey Eva, long time no see.' But guess I was wrong.
Looks like my guess about her hating me back then was true after all. But what might be the reason? I never did anything wrong to her.
I mean, I rarely spoke to her before, so it was kind of confusing. The silence between us back then always felt heavy and one-sided.
"Why did you bring her here?"
She did not move her head as she looked at Daniel. Her gaze was sharp, waiting for his answer. While Daniel was lost in his own world of thoughts.
