The Devil Who Hides Her Fangs
Walinsiya slowly stepped back, her body stiff with fear.
"What do you know?" she asked cautiously.
Jinha walked closer to her and gently wiped the blood from Walinsiya's lips.
"You went hunting animals again, didn't you?" Jinha said calmly. "Tell me the truth."
Walinsiya took a slow breath and forced a nervous smile.
"Ha… ha… yes. I went hunting."
Jinha suddenly grabbed her chin and lifted her face.
"How many times have I told you not to hunt innocent animals?" Jinha said seriously.
"I already keep blood bags in the freezer so you can drink those. That way you don't have to hurt animals."
"Yet you still keep doing the same thing."
Walinsiya sighed.
"Okay, okay. Sorry. I'll be careful next time."
She walked inside the house.
Jinha followed her with an annoyed expression.
"You say that every time. But after a few days you repeat the same thing again. I'm really getting tired of these habits."
Walinsiya opened the freezer, took out a blood bag, and started drinking it.
"Mmm… fine. Next time I won't do it."
Jinha shook her head.
"I'm going to freshen up. You should come too. After that we'll have dinner."
"Okay," Walinsiya replied.
After a while both of them entered the bathroom.
Steam slowly filled the room.
Jinha relaxed inside the bathtub filled with warm water.
"Hm… this feels good."
Walinsiya looked at her silently.
(Hm… enjoy it while you can. This comfort won't last long.)
Her eyes moved slowly toward Jinha.
Jinha immediately noticed and covered her chest with her hands.
"Why are you staring like that?"
Walinsiya glanced at her own chest and then back at Jinha.
"Why are yours bigger than mine?"
Jinha turned red with embarrassment.
"Stop talking nonsense."
"Huh."
"Just finish quickly so we can go eat."
"Okay."
After a short silence, Jinha suddenly asked,
"By the way… how old are you?"
Walinsiya smirked.
"How old do you think I am?"
Jinha thought for a moment.
"Maybe… thirty or forty?"
Walinsiya answered calmly.
"I'm seventy."
Jinha's eyes widened.
"Seventy?! Then you must have been married before, right? Do you have a husband?"
Walinsiya's expression changed slightly.
"I did… but we separated after some conflicts."
"Oh… I'm sorry."
Walinsiya gave a small smile.
(It's fine. Much worse things will happen to you soon anyway.)
Jinha tried to lighten the mood.
"But honestly… you still look very beautiful for someone who is seventy. Your figure is also very good."
Walinsiya laughed softly.
"Well, that's true. But you're also very beautiful. You just need to grow a little taller."
Jinha rolled her eyes.
Then she asked another question.
"How long can devils live?"
Walinsiya leaned back in the bathtub.
"Devils don't really have a fixed lifespan."
"We can live as long as we keep strengthening our Deal powers."
"As we grow older, we must keep upgrading our power to maintain our life."
"Oh… I see."
Jinha looked curious again.
"But devils usually have horns, right?"
Walinsiya nodded.
"Yes. But devils from royal bloodlines are different."
"Our horns are normally hidden."
"They only appear when we activate our family Deal using our full name."
"And when a devil's horns grow long and curve from both sides…"
"That devil is declared an Archdevil."
"And Devil Kings or Queens have completely unique horns. The more unique the horns are, the more royal and powerful they are."
Jinha looked at her with interest.
"So does that mean… you are an Archdevil?"
Walinsiya smiled faintly.
"You could say that… but not exactly."
Jinha stood up from the bathtub.
"Well, I'm done bathing. Come out when you're finished. I'll start preparing dinner."
"Okay."
Meanwhile.
Midnight.
Inside a tall building corridor, two agents were running at full speed.
Ahead of them a goblin thief was escaping.
"Hey Hena!" the male agent shouted while running.
"If this continues we'll need to use our special technique!"
The female agent smirked.
"Then what are you waiting for, James?"
Their boss suddenly spoke through their Bluetooth communication device.
"Listen carefully. Capture that goblin alive. Do NOT kill him."
James suddenly grabbed Hena's hand and stopped running.
The goblin kept running toward a window.
"Don't worry boss," Hena replied calmly.
"We'll just give him a little love treatment."
"Just bring him back alive," the boss said with a sigh.
Hena smiled.
"Ready, darling?"
James nodded.
"Always."
Both of them spoke together.
"I, Jamesion Seraphine…"
"I, Henaion Seraphine…"
"We order the activation of the Seraphine Family Deal."
Serphine Deal Accepted
Their bodies were instantly covered by glowing angel-like suits.
Both of them held each other's hands and aimed forward like a gun.
"Seraphine: Lovely Shock."
Deal Accepted
A beautiful pink and white beam shot forward.
The beam hit the goblin directly.
Electric energy spread across his body.
The goblin collapsed on the floor completely paralyzed.
James and Hena smiled proudly.
"No one escapes the Seraphine Love Beam."
Serphine Deal Cancelled
They slowly walked toward the goblin.
The goblin trembled in fear.
"Please… let me go… I'll do anything…"
Hena sighed.
"He's too noisy."
"Darling, shut him up."
James raised his gun.
The boss shouted again through the earpiece.
"Hey! Don't kill him! We need him alive!"
James pulled the trigger.
Gunshot echoed through the corridor.
