Haah… finally done.
I have revised everything up to the Thronwell trip. So if you are curious, you can go back and read from the beginning again. As for the old version, I have already saved it as an epub and uploaded it with my other completed projects. You can find it through my Carrd or Discord.
These past few days have been rough. My sleep schedule is a mess. My eyes feel heavy, but my mind just won't settle. It feels restless all the time, like I can't properly sleep even when I try. I can't sleep well because of this matter.
Do you ever get that? Your body is begging for rest, but your mind refuses?
Anyway… like I said before, this is the last time I'm addressing this. I'm not going to care anymore about people accusing me of using full AI to write this fic. I'm tired, and honestly, I don't care anymore.
Though I do think I would recover a lot faster if someone dropped a little financial support. (Cough) Just saying.
As for my writing style, it is basically the same process I use when translating. First comes the skeleton, the base. After that, I add two more layers.
Expansion and smoothing.
Expansion is where I add sensory details, small actions, and atmosphere to make scenes feel vivid and grounded.
Smoothing is where I refine the flow, adjust sentence rhythm, deepen emotional beats, and improve the pacing overall.
So if that comes across as "AI filler" to you, or if my style feels like too much for you,… then this fic probably isn't for you. It's better if you just drop it here, and maybe avoid my other works too, especially the new one and on AO3. Because I use the same style everywhere. And I'm not changing it.
If you don't like it, just leave. No one's forcing you to keep reading. Don't torture yourself by continuing and then complaining about the pacing or my writing style.
You choose what you read, and you deal with how it feels. I have already given you a heads up here, so take it or leave it.
For those of you who are sticking around, here's a bit of news:
About the pacing, I did say I would try to speed things up… but I'm not sure how fast it will actually be. I might end up going back to a slower pace since that's what I'm most comfortable with. Plus, slower pacing gives me more room to write detailed scenes and build things properly.
About Hogwarts, especially the academic side, I will be using material from Hogwarts Mystery and Hogwarts Legacy.
I have played Hogwarts Mystery since launch, so my account is pretty far along. I might start a new one or revisit certain parts for details.
As for Hogwarts Legacy, I do own it from an Epic Games event, but I haven't finished it yet. I might check some gameplay videos as well to fill in gaps.
Now, about wands: since this is a self-insert fic, based on myself. I have two WB Games accounts, and I will be using both wand results. Also, both accounts sorted me into Slytherin.
For Harry, I'm giving him two wands as well. One is canon, and the other is still connected to Voldemort. Both have ties to him in different ways.
As for the "system" idea I asked about before, I have decided not to use it. I'm going to focus more on the magic system itself. Dig deeper into it, explore it properly, and maybe expand on her magical lineage as well.
Oh, one more thing. This story is now up on Wattpad too. So you can find it on AO3, FFN, Webnovel, and Wattpad.
Here is a small spoiler for you. Morwenna and Saoirse will be traveling to Asia, specifically China, Japan, and South Korea.
And another one… I think some of you might already see this coming. Something is definitely going to happen during her second magical maturity ritual. I have been planting flags and hints for a while now.
