So, I have made it to Chapter 21. Yeah… that was fast. I barely slept, so that probably explains it.
Anyway, I had a random thought I want your opinion on.
As you probably know, I really like Chinese web novels, and I have translated a few before. So I started wondering… should I introduce a "system" when Morwenna turns five, or should I keep the power system strictly within the Harry Potter universe?
If I do add a system, the rough idea is that it can draw talents from other fictional worlds. Morwenna would then adapt or convert those abilities herself so they fit into this world's magic system.
Or… maybe she just keeps multiple power systems alongside magic, without converting them at all.
The other option is to stay fully within this universe, explore the existing magic more deeply, and maybe have Morwenna create something new on her own.
So yeah, the real question is:
Should I introduce outside power systems and give her a kind of "cheat"… or keep everything grounded in the original setting?
