Luna's Secret Past
The next morning, the Moon Kingdom felt peaceful again.
But Luna could not relax.
She stood alone on the palace balcony, looking at the three glowing moons in the sky.
Memories slowly returned to her mind.
Memories she had tried to forget.
Arian walked onto the balcony.
"I've been looking for you everywhere," he said.
"You disappeared after the wizard left."
Luna forced a small smile.
"I just needed some fresh air."
Arian looked at her carefully.
"You're hiding something."
Luna stayed silent for a moment.
Then she slowly spoke.
"Long ago… before you came here… the Shadow Lord attacked the Moon Kingdom once before."
Arian frowned.
"But the kingdom survived."
"Yes," Luna said softly.
"But not without a cost."
She looked down at her hands.
"My parents… the King and Queen… died protecting the Moon Heart."
Arian's expression softened.
"I'm sorry."
Luna shook her head.
"That's not the secret."
She looked at him seriously.
"The Shadow Lord didn't just want the Moon Heart."
"He wanted me."
Arian looked shocked.
"Why?"
Luna whispered quietly.
"Because my power is connected to the Moon Heart."
"If I fall into darkness… the entire world will fall with me."
The wind blew softly across the balcony.
Arian stepped closer.
"Then I'll make sure that never happens."
Luna looked into his eyes.
For the first time, she felt safe.
But far away in the dark mountains…
Someone was listening.
And smiling.
