Dust rolled across the cracked earth like waves across a dead ocean.

Now one of them was dead.
The tall demon's face twisted with rage.
"You little insect!"
It rushed forward with killing intent.
Rai didn't run.
He stood calmly.

The demon staggered backward.
The tall demon roared and charged again.
But Rai was already moving.
His body flowed through the fight like he had done it hundreds of times.

He had.
Every death had been a lesson.
The tall demon swung wildly.
Rai ducked under the attack.
Then he grabbed a broken bone from dead demon on the ground.
He drove it upward.
THRUST.
The bone pierced the tall demon's eye.
The demon screamed.
"AAARRRGH!"
It stumbled backward.
Blood poured down its face.
Rai didn't hesitate.
He jumped forward and drove the bone deeper.
The demon collapsed.
Dead.
The wasteland fell silent again.
Only one demon remained.
The creature stared at Rai in horror.
"You… you're a monster…"
Rai looked at him coldly.
Then he slowly walked forward.
The demon panicked.
"Stay away!"
It lunged desperately.
But Rai stepped aside.
Then he drove the bone weapon straight through the demon's throat.
CRUNCH.
The demon dropped to its knees.
Then fell face-first into the dust.
Dead.
Silence returned to the wasteland.
Three demon corpses lay around Rai.
A glowing blue screen appeared again.
