Chapter 6 - Voidborn Chapter 6 – Shadows Beyond the Galaxy

Far beyond the Solar System, in the distant reaches of the universe, stood one of the most powerful cosmic empires ever known—the Xytherian Dominion. This vast dominion was ruled by the supreme emperor Zerathion Rex, a being whose authority stretched across unimaginable distances of space. Under the rule of the Xytherian Dominion existed twenty-one great galaxies, each governed by powerful cosmic nobles loyal to the throne.

At the very center of this empire lay the Zack Galaxy, the capital galaxy of the dominion and the seat of Zerathion Rex himself. Surrounding the Zack Galaxy were twenty other galaxies under imperial control. Among them were Andromeda (M31), Triangulum (M33), the Large Magellanic Cloud, the Small Magellanic Cloud, the Sombrero Galaxy (M104), the Whirlpool Galaxy (M51), the Cigar Galaxy (M82), the Cartwheel Galaxy, the Black Eye Galaxy (M64), the Tadpole Galaxy, the Sunflower Galaxy (M63), the Needle Galaxy, the Butterfly Galaxies, Bode's Galaxy (M81), Centaurus A, Hoag's Object, the Fireworks Galaxy, the Condor Galaxy, IC 1101… and finally the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Milky Way had always been a strange case within the dominion. Compared to the other galaxies, it was extremely far away from the capital Zack Galaxy—roughly thirty-five to fifty billion light years depending on the route taken through cosmic space lanes. For most powerful warriors of the dominion, such a distance was simply not worth the time. Even cosmic rulers valued time more than territory.

Because of this, the Milky Way had largely been ignored for billions of years.

Yet rumors had always circulated within the dominion that the Milky Way might be one of the most valuable galaxies in existence. According to ancient imperial records, the galaxy had been discovered 7.5 billion years ago by a warrior named Zorvath—the very same warrior who later became one of Earth's legendary heroes. Unfortunately, Zorvath died before he could report detailed information about the galaxy's hidden treasures.

But Zorvath had not been alone in the royal family.

He had ten elder brothers, each one a powerful ruler within the dominion: Zytherion, Kael'Vorith, Xandryth, Velqorin, Thraxxil, Orvexion, Nythera, Kryzalon, Vaelthar, and Zorvantis. These princes understood that if the rumors about the Milky Way were true, the treasures hidden within it could change the balance of power within the entire dominion.

However, traveling directly from the Zack Galaxy to the Milky Way would take far too long—even for cosmic-level warriors.

Instead, the princes decided to use a more practical strategy.

They contacted powerful families located in galaxies much closer to the Milky Way. Among the nearby galaxies, the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) was the closest. From there, the distance to the Milky Way was roughly 163,000 light years.

Even so, teleportation was impossible.

The Milky Way possessed a strange cosmic law that prevented outsiders from teleporting directly into the galaxy. Any traveler was forced to enter by conventional space travel.

Meanwhile, the news of a new Solar System Lord named Michael had already spread across many surrounding galaxies. While most civilizations only knew that Michael ruled the Solar System, a few powerful observers had already realized the deeper implication—whoever controlled the Solar System could potentially control the entire Milky Way Galaxy in the future.

Back on Earth, life continued normally.

Five years had passed since Michael's victory over Ivan Korovin.

Michael was now thirteen years old, and the long-awaited Starfall Covenant Tournament was finally approaching. This tournament would determine the future status of many powerful families—including the declining Adarkwah-Yadom family.

Inside a training arena, Michael practiced his techniques with intense focus. Over the past five years he had refined his original move, Solar Strike, and successfully created a second variation known as Double Solar Strike, which unleashed two consecutive waves of solar energy capable of overwhelming stronger opponents.

Nearby, other young warriors were also preparing for the tournament. Lin Kai trained with calm determination, while Ivan Korovin practiced brutal combat techniques, clearly eager for another chance to prove his strength.

But while Earth's young warriors prepared for competition…

Something far more dangerous was already moving through space.

Inside the Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy, an alien warlord named Drakthul stood inside a massive starship hangar. Drakthul belonged to the powerful Xylaran family, one of the strongest bloodlines in the Magellanic Cloud. Their warriors were feared throughout the region for their brutal conquest campaigns.

The Xylarans had received secret orders from the royal princes of the Xytherian Dominion.

Their mission was simple.

Travel to the Solar System… and eliminate its new lord.

Because teleportation was impossible, the Xylarans launched a massive spacecraft known as the Matoyo C3, a warship capable of traveling fifty times the speed of light. Even at that speed, the journey to Earth would take 9.48 years.

The invasion had already begun.

For centuries Earth had lived in peace after the devastating Great War, the last major conflict that nearly destroyed humanity. Although political conflicts still existed between nations, none of them came close to the scale of that ancient war.

But now… a new threat was approaching.

And this time, the danger came from beyond the stars.

Years later, as the alien ship finally crossed into the outer boundary of the Solar System—the Kuiper Belt—a strange reaction occurred.

Inside a quiet training chamber on Earth, Michael suddenly paused during meditation.

A faint sensation rippled through his mind.

Something… was entering the Solar System.

But Michael frowned in confusion. He had not yet fully mastered his authority as the Solar System's ruler. His connection with the cosmic system was still unstable, so he could not tell whether the feeling was real or just his imagination.

Yet Michael was not the only one who sensed it.

Across different parts of Earth, seven mysterious figures also felt the disturbance.

Each of them stood silently, gazing toward the sky.

Among them was a strange man wearing a long red robe, his hair wild and twisted like burning flames. A faint smile appeared on his face as he looked toward the distant stars.

Unlike the approaching aliens…

These seven figures were not enemies.

In fact, they were the true guardians of Earth—the most powerful warriors currently alive on the planet.

But their identities remained hidden from the world.

And as the alien warship continued its silent journey toward the Solar System, the red-robed man simply smiled and whispered to himself.

"Interesting… it seems the universe has finally started moving again."

Far away in space, the Matoyo C3 warship accelerated deeper into the Solar System.

The next great conflict was already on its way.

And Earth had no idea what was coming
