The bookseller was still there, completely surrounded by a restless crowd. People pushed forward, voices rising in frustration, all demanding copies that no longer existed.
"Don't worry, everyone!" the bookseller called out, raising his hands in an attempt to calm them. His voice trembled slightly under the pressure. "I'll get more copies for you tomorrow, alright? Please.....just give me some space!"
But there was no space as the crowd only pressed closer, their impatience growing thicker in the air.
Finn leaned slightly toward Orion, his voice dropping to a whisper.
"What are you planning to do?" he asked, tension lacing his tone. "Remember....you're a king… even if you're not the real one. And you're wearing a mask for a reason. I'm also in disguise, dressed like this with a veil. Don't reveal our identities, okay? I'm not ready to die yet."
Orion didn't look at him.
"Just open your eyes and watch," he replied calmly.
