"Going outside the palace is really dangerous after all…" Finn muttered weakly, blood still spilling from the corner of his mouth as he clutched his chest. He lay sprawled across Orion's bed, his body trembling as the arrow has been removed by Orion earlier, the area continue to ooze blood, staining the once-white silk bedspread a deep red.
"Just stop talking, okay?" Orion snapped, though the worry in his voice betrayed his attempt at composure. He hovered beside the bed, his brows tightly furrowed. "The physician will be here soon. Why would you do something so reckless? How could you take the arrow for me?"
Take the arrow for you?! Finn screamed inwardly, his thoughts far louder than his fading voice. Only a fool would do that! I'm not one of those idiots from the dramas I've watched! If I knew someone was going to shoot, why the hell would I step in front of you?!
