Orion turned back instantly, surprise flashing across his face.
Finn's fingers tightened slightly around his hand despite how exhausted he looked.
"Don't go…" Finn whispered hoarsely, finally speaking.
His voice was weak and rough from everything that had happened.
But Orion still heard it clearly. Without hesitation, he moved back toward the bed and slowly knelt beside him.
His expression softened immediately.
"You don't want a healer?" he asked quietly.
Finn gave a faint shake of his head before wincing when the movement caused the glowing mark on his neck to sting again.
"It hurts…" Finn admitted honestly, his breathing uneven. "But… I'm okay."
Orion looked unconvinced.
His golden slit pupils carefully scanned every inch of Finn's face, searching for signs that something was seriously wrong.
"You're burning up," Orion muttered, brushing the damp strands of hair away from Finn's forehead. "Your body temperature is still rising."
Finn gave a weak laugh.
