Orion gently laid Finn down on the bed the moment they arrived at Finn's quarters. Before Finn could even ask what he was doing, Orion knelt beside the bed on one knee and carefully removed Finn's shoes.
The moment the shoes came off, Orion's brows furrowed.
Finn's feet and ankles were swollen and sore from all the walking and standing he had done.
"You really think you're just a normal human now, huh?" Orion said softly, shaking his head. Worry filled his eyes as he gently held one of Finn's legs in his hands. "You're carrying the Dragon Prince, Finn. Someone even stronger than you. You shouldn't be pushing yourself this hard."
Just then, Finn's maidservants, Mia and Lia, entered the room.
Lia carried a basin filled with warm water, with several clean cloths soaking inside. Mia followed closely behind, holding a jar of soothing medicinal oil.
Without interrupting the conversation, they placed the items on the table beside Finn's bed.
