On his way back to his quarters, Finn suddenly changed direction. Instead of heading straight there, he turned his gaze toward Lia and Mia, who were both carrying the pots of poisonous flowers.
"Uhmm... you two can go ahead," Finn said casually. "I'll meet you soon."
"Where are you going, Your Highness?" Lia asked, raising an eyebrow suspiciously. "You shouldn't be wandering around the palace on your own, you know."
"Just take the flowers to my quarters and drop them off," Finn replied with a dismissive wave of his hand. "I'll be back before you know it."
Before either Lia or Mia could question him further, Finn quickly turned around and began walking toward Orion's quarters.
Mia watched his retreating figure before a knowing smile appeared on her face.
"Oh, I see," she said with a light chuckle. "He misses the king. He could have just said that. What's there to be shy about?"
Lia immediately joined in her laughter.
"Exactly. It's not like we don't already know."
