Chapter 37 THE GOLDEN GATE
THE SANDS on the island were golden and emmited faint glow, with red translucent like grass that covered the entire island, giving it an aesthetic feel.
There were no trees.
At the center of the island stood a large stone structure, like a spire, with a long platform projecting from the side.
Similar to a pride rock.
As soon as Roman stepped on the island, he immediately felt a dominating presence looming over the island.
He smiled.
"Well it's my Inner Space so I shouldn't be weary of any dangers"
With that, he rushed forward.
As he ran, the soft wind washed over his face and filling his long hair. The translucent grass seem to part ways as he wooshed past.
His eyes were filled with strange excitement and anticipation.
Soon he reached the center of the island, the foot of the stone structure.
Roman glanced at the extended platform high above, almost at reaching the tip of the spire.
"That's a long way up, but good thing I'm an expert climber"
Roman placed his hand on an edge, and began to climb up.
He hummed a tone as he climbed, a song his mom used to sing to him back then.
He suddenly paused.
Mom..
He thought for a while.
"We're gonna have a serious conversation when you decide to show"
He nodded and resumed climbing.
"A conversation between two adults"
Soon, he reached the extended platform and climbed on top.
"What a view"
Roman whistled as he walked towards the edge of the platform.
"Now on to business"
He turned and faced the stone structure, which still stretched some meters high.
He brought his head down and focus on the cave in front of him.
He felt the presence coming from the cave.
Roman walked towards the cave and entered.
It was large in the inside, and behold, right in front of him, a massive golden gate stood, emmiting a subtle glow.
It was majestic..
"Wow.."
Roman breathed out and walked towards the gate.
He felt the presence, more stronger, coming from the inside, but it was sealed.
The glow pulsated slowly, like a beating heart, as if it was alive.
Roman placed his palm on the gate.
"So this is where you've been hiding all this time"
He smiled.
"You're five years late, and you're still sleeping peacefully, not fair"
Roman took some steps backwards.
"I hope you wake up soon"
He turned around and left the cave.
He walked towards the edge of the platform... then jumped down.
Before he could hit the ground, his body fizzed, and he disappeared.

Roman opened his eyes and gaze at the familiar looking training room in the academy.
Miss Amy sat on the circular platform, with
eyes closed, while the students did the same.
They were still obviously struggling to maintain posture.
Others were visibly sweating.
"Is meditating really that hard "
Roman let out a silent chuckle.
Roman was completely oblivious to the fact that he had just achieved something ground breaking in his very first try.
Transporting to the Inner Space was something that takes time and continued effort, yet he had done so with ease.
It wasn't that the students lacked talent, he just happened to be a beast among men.
"I still have to work hard, I need to grow stronger"
He went back to meditating.
