Chapter 55 NO MUCH DISCOVERY
Roman Lunar and Sylver had been in the academy library for some time now, hours.
They had spent time searching for books, scrolls and parchment that has anything related to the Tiger Clan.
But it felt like they were searching for a pin in a haystack.
They had spread out around the isle with the idea of covering more ground, hoping to find something.
Fury had wandered off somewhere in the Library.
Lunar lost count of how many times he had sneezed.
"I guess I'm allergic to the sight of books"
He turned to look around the library, and a cold wind blew past him.
"This place only has one window, and yet it's freezing cold"
The rain was till heavy outside.
"It would really be nice to catch a nap, I feel cozy"
He turned to the other side of the Isle to see Roman with a large books in his hands.
"He trains more than he reads, but when he searching for something, he reads and study like a sage"
Lunar exhaled.
Roman felt his gaze and looked at him.
He could tell that Lunar was tired.
Well it was obvious.
"Let's take a break then"
Roman said and closed the book shut.
"Finally "
Lunar breathed out and sat on the floor.
Roman walked up towards him and sat beside him.
"Found anything?"
Roman asked.
"Does Avalon kingdom being a hundred years old count?"
Lunar smiled.
Roman chuckled.
"So you really were reading"
Lunar shrugged.
"I was only glancing through"
Roman rested his head on the shelf.
"I know it has been fifteen years, but do they really had to erase everything that has to do with the Tiger Clan"
Roman said.
"This Library is as old as the Kingdom itself, so there has to be something"
"Well I guess the King is hellbent on forgetting his brother"
Lunar smirked.
"He is your uncle after all"
"Some uncle he is"
Roman scoffed.
"I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind when I see him"
"Really dude?"
Lunar raised a brow
"You being in Avalon is risky enough. If he finds out that his nephew has been under his nose, he will obliterate you "
Roman remained quiet for a while, then said;
"I'm not hiding, heck, I'm not even scared.
A lot of people will definitely find out of my connection to the tiger clan. It's gonna be tough when my Tiger spirit awakens, I'm ready to face anything when the time comes"
Lunar stared at him for a while.
"I'll follow you all the way, you're my rival after all "
He smiled.
Roman smiled and breathed out.
He could see his breath due to the cold.
"I don't get it "
Lunar said.
"How is this place so cold, it might even snow, I can see our breath as we speak"
Roman looked around and his eyes landed on the Librarian, Pendragon.
Sir Pendragon was on another isle above them, engrossed in a book.
"It's coming from him"
He nodded at the old man.
"Don't let his personality fool you, that man is more powerful than he looks "
"I guess he enjoys his books so much that his ice element sips out without him realizing it"
Lunar said.
"That's what you call passion "
Roman smiled.
Lunar looked around the isle and his eyes landed on Sylver, who sat down with her back against the wall and engrossed in a book.
"I guess she found a new passion "
Lunar chuckled.
Roman looked at Slyver and smiled.
"Apart from being my shield, Slyver's doesn't wanna have any other hobbies.
Sometimes I feel guilty about it, like I'm keeping her on a leash"
"Yeah I get you"
Lunar said.
"How old is she anyway?"
"She's exactly your age, she's eighteen"
"Really, damn, you're the only baby in this team "
"Very funny dude, my fist is older than your face"
Roman rolled his eyes.
"Wanna test that theory, it's been a while since we had a match"
Lunar said.
"Not in the Library, do you want us to destroy the place"
Roman said.
Lunar chuckled and relax against the wall.
"She is pretty, are you sure she ain't a goddess"
"If you want her you are gonna have to defeat me in a fight "
Roman nodded.
"You act like an over protective brother. Speaking of, why is Sylver hell bent on protecting you"
Lunar asked.
Roman thought for a while then released a slow breath.
