Kenzo sat calmly at the Ravenclaw table.
Around him, the new students were still speaking quietly with one another. However, the attention of several of them occasionally drifted toward him.
Kenzo himself was lost in thought.
Deep down, he felt quite satisfied.
Being sorted into Ravenclaw, in his opinion, was a good thing. The thousands of books he had read all this time finally felt as though they had not been in vain.
From the information he had learned, Ravenclaw was a place where geniuses gathered—free thinkers and those who possessed a strong curiosity for knowledge.
And that made Kenzo feel challenged.
He wanted to know just how far the knowledge of Ravenclaw students truly went.
Were they really as remarkable as the many books he had read described?
However, his thoughts were interrupted when someone beside him spoke nervously.
"H-hello… my name is Terry Boot. Nice to meet you."
Kenzo snapped out of his thoughts. He turned toward the bespectacled boy and smiled politely.
"Oh, nice to meet you too. My name is Kenzo Otsutsuki."
Terry looked slightly nervous.
"U-uh… may I call you Kenzo?"
Kenzo chuckled softly.
"Of course you can. And may I call you Terry as well?"
"O-of course!" Terry replied quickly.
The atmosphere at the Ravenclaw table began to feel more relaxed.
But at the Gryffindor table—
Hermione occasionally glanced toward Kenzo.
She looked slightly disappointed.
"Huh… if I had known Kenzo would be in Ravenclaw, maybe I should have chosen that house too…" she muttered inwardly.
She frowned slightly.
"And the name Otsutsuki…"
"I feel like I've heard it before…"
Hermione tried to remember something.
She vaguely recalled that her father had once mentioned that name while speaking with her mother.
"Tomorrow I should go to the library," she thought.
"I have to find out about the Otsutsuki family."
Meanwhile beside her—
Harry Potter also occasionally glanced toward Kenzo.
For some reason, the name felt somewhat familiar to him.
He had heard it once when he was still living with the Dursley family.
But he couldn't remember exactly where.
Harry eventually turned to Ron.
"Ron… are you sure you don't know anything about the Otsutsuki family?"
Ron, who was biting into a roasted chicken, suddenly choked a little.
"Huuk—huuk!"
He quickly swallowed his food.
"Harry! I already told you I don't know!"
Ron scratched his head.
"Besides, the wizarding world is strange anyway."
Harry sighed.
He knew Ron was clearly hiding something.
But Ron also seemed unwilling to talk about it.
Near the wall of the Great Hall—
White Zetsu stood casually, still hidden by Kenzo's illusion.
He was busy writing in a small notebook.
"Interesting…"
He wrote while muttering softly.
"Subject Hermione Granger shows slight regret for not entering Ravenclaw."
"Her curiosity about the Otsutsuki family has increased."
He wrote again.
"Subject Harry Potter attempts to obtain information from Ronald Weasley."
"However, Ronald refuses to discuss the Otsutsuki family."
Zetsu smiled slightly as he closed his notebook.
Meanwhile at the Ravenclaw table—
the first-year students who were initially nervous had begun to relax.
Soft laughter began to be heard at their table.
Terry smiled slightly and said,
"I didn't expect our first year to immediately attract the attention of the entire castle."
A dark-skinned girl across the table responded,
"Yes. Your family name is quite famous."
She smiled faintly.
Kenzo shrugged casually.
"Hm… I'm quite used to hearing that."
Several Ravenclaw students chuckled softly.
The atmosphere became much more relaxed.
However, occasionally some of them still spoke a bit carefully.
At the Ravenclaw second-year table—
two girls quietly observed Kenzo.
"Cho, why do you keep looking at that first-year student?" Marietta Edgecombe asked while tapping her friend's shoulder.
Cho Chang immediately jumped slightly.
"W-what?"
She quickly pretended to eat her food.
"Isn't it normal to be curious?"
Marietta grinned mischievously.
"Oh? Just curious?"
Cho's face turned slightly red.
"Y-yes! Besides, he's from the Otsutsuki family."
Marietta smiled teasingly.
"Cho… I have a book about how to approach a boy."
Cho immediately turned even redder.
"I-I don't need that!"
She pretended to focus on eating.
Marietta simply chuckled at her friend's behavior.
Not far from them—
another Ravenclaw girl was also secretly observing Kenzo.
Katie Bell.
However, she hid her curiosity much better.
Meanwhile at the Slytherin table—
Draco Malfoy stared at Kenzo from afar.
"So he's from the Otsutsuki family…"
Crabbe looked slightly frightened.
"Malfoy… he's really from that family?"
Draco nodded slowly.
"Yes."
He stared at Kenzo's red eyes.
"Those eyes are proof."
Draco swallowed slightly.
"It seems we should be careful when we're near him."
Crabbe and Goyle immediately nodded.
Not far from them—
a blonde girl from Slytherin was also watching Kenzo.
Daphne Greengrass.
"So he's from that ancient family…" she thought.
"What a shame he isn't in Slytherin."
Someone beside her whispered,
"Hey Daphne, what's wrong?"
Pansy Parkinson looked at her curiously.
Daphne shook her head slowly.
"Nothing, Pansy."
At the staff table—
Professor Quirrell looked extremely shaken.
His entire body trembled.
"Oh no… no… no…"
"Why is there an Otsutsuki family member at Hogwarts…"
He looked genuinely panicked.
"What if that child discovers the Dark Lord's presence…"
"And sends a letter to the Order of the Nishu…"
Professor Snape, sitting beside him, narrowed his eyes.
"What is wrong with you, Quirrell?"
"Are you ill?"
Quirrell immediately snapped back to reality.
"N-no… nothing is wrong, Professor Snape."
Snape stared at him suspiciously.
But eventually he only nodded slightly.
Then his gaze shifted toward two students.
Harry Potter.
And Kenzo Otsutsuki.
At the end of the staff table—
Professor Dumbledore watched everything with a small smile.
He seemed quite entertained seeing how quickly Kenzo began interacting with the Ravenclaw students.
Beside him—
Professor McGonagall sighed softly.
"It's a pity he didn't enter Gryffindor…"
She looked toward the Ravenclaw table.
"But I suppose Ravenclaw is indeed the most suitable place for him."
The night at the Ravenclaw tower felt far calmer compared to the busy Great Hall earlier.
The night wind blew softly through the tall windows of the dormitory room.
Moonlight entered through the glass, illuminating the room with a gentle silver glow.
Inside the dormitory room, three blue-canopied beds were neatly arranged.
Terry Boot was almost asleep.
He lay in his bed while pulling his blanket.
"I didn't expect the first day at Hogwarts to be this exhausting…" he murmured sleepily.
Across from him, Michael Corner was still sitting on his bed while opening his bag.
He took out several books and placed them on the small table beside his bed.
"I think it's actually interesting," he said.
"Just imagine. We've only been at Hogwarts for one day and the entire hall is already talking about someone from this room."
Terry slightly lifted his head from the pillow.
"You mean Kenzo?"
Michael smiled slightly.
"Yes."
Kenzo himself was still standing near the window.
He looked outside toward Hogwarts' Black Lake reflecting the moonlight.
For a moment he remained silent.
Then he said calmly,
"Other people's attention is not something very important."
Michael raised an eyebrow.
"Maybe for ordinary people it's not important."
He looked at Kenzo.
"But for someone from the Otsutsuki family… I think it's different."
Kenzo did not answer immediately.
He simply closed the window slightly so the night wind would not be too cold.
Terry, who was almost asleep, muttered,
"I still can't believe I share a room with an ancient family…"
Michael chuckled.
"You'll have to get used to it."
Terry pulled his blanket again.
"Tomorrow we start classes…"
"And I want to stay alive until the end of the year."
Michael shook his head while smiling.
Kenzo finally sat on his bed.
The room slowly became quiet.
A few minutes later—
Terry had completely fallen asleep.
Michael eventually turned off the small lamp on the table beside his bed.
But in the corner of the room—
Zetsu slowly emerged from the shadows.
His body appeared as if coming out of the wall.
He looked toward Kenzo.
"Observation of the first day is complete," he said casually.
Kenzo turned slightly.
"Conclusion?"
Zetsu opened his small notebook.
He read the notes he had just written.
"The Hogwarts environment is very stable."
He flipped the page.
"However, the social reactions toward you far exceeded the initial prediction."
Kenzo only nodded slightly.
Zetsu continued.
"Subject Hermione Granger shows increased curiosity."
"Subject Harry Potter also observed you several times."
Zetsu closed his notebook.
"And there is one more interesting thing."
Kenzo looked at him.
"What is it?"
Zetsu smiled faintly.
"Professor Quirrell."
Kenzo tilted his head slightly.
Zetsu continued,
"He looked very afraid when your name was mentioned."
For several seconds the room became silent.
Then Kenzo spoke calmly.
"Interesting."
Zetsu leaned against the wall.
"I think Hogwarts this year will be far more interesting than we predicted."
Kenzo lay down on his bed.
He stared at the ceiling of the dormitory room.
"Indeed."
The room lights were already off.
Terry and Michael were fast asleep.
But for Kenzo—
the first night at Hogwarts was still filled with many things to think about.
And far outside the Ravenclaw tower—
Hogwarts Castle stood silently beneath the moonlight.
As if hiding many secrets waiting to be revealed.
And far beyond Ravenclaw Tower—
Hogwarts Castle stood silently in the moonlight. As if hiding many secrets waiting to be revealed.
Beyond Ravenclaw Tower—
a thin mist had begun to shroud the Hogwarts grounds.
In one of the other towers, a light still burned in an office. An old man with a long beard stood at the window.
Professor Albus Dumbledore.
A red phoenix perched nearby.
Dumbledore looked up at the night sky. "Kenzo Otsutsuki…" He said the name quietly.
As if contemplating something far greater than the arrival of a new student. Fawkes made a soft sound.
Dumbledore smiled faintly. "How interesting."
