Hero walked into a local café wearing his new clothes, ready for breakfast. The place was bustling with morning energy, and hidden among the customers were agents from the Hunter Association, keeping a close eye on him.
Hero asked Time in his mind, "Time, why did you tell me to do that strange gesture the other day? Why did you make me point my finger?"
Time's voice echoed calmly in his mind, "There was a monster there, boy. It was watching you."
Hero was shocked. "From that far away? If there were a monster, it would have attacked by now."
"It is a messenger of evil," Time replied. "It did not attack you then, but it will come soon."
Hero panicked, "What do you mean? Even if it's there, I'm far away from that place. How will it track me?"
Time asked, "Do you know of the monster called a Vampire?"
A chill ran down Hero's spine. "A Vampire? Was that an S-Rank Vampire? If it's coming here, we are all in danger! I must go to the Association for help."
Time commanded, "There is no need to leave. If you run, it will kill you. Stay here and do exactly as I say."
Suddenly, the café door opened. A man with crimson hair walked in and sat at another table. Time instructed, "The man with the red hair sitting at the table in front of you—that is the Vampire. Go, sit with him."
Hero's heart hammered against his ribs, but he steadied himself, walked over, and sat down at the Vampire's table. The Vampire was stunned to see the boy approach him voluntarily. Hero met his gaze and spoke clearly, "I know you are a Vampire, and you are here for me."
Nearby, the Association agents, who were watching closely, finally caught on. Though they couldn't hear the full conversation, Hero's bold statement made it clear—the man sitting across from him was a Vampire. They immediately signaled their headquarters to request backup.
Time whispered, "Tell him that if he tries anything, you will ruin his plan."
Hero smirked with cold, stylish confidence. "How do you know about my plan? Who are you?" the Vampire demanded, his rage building.
Following Time's lead, Hero said with an air of absolute authority, "You are just a low-tier, pathetic bug that I can crush whenever I want. If you are in such a hurry to die, come to my house. I will kill you properly."
Hero paid the bill and left. The Vampire sat in deep thought, shaken by the boy's audacity. As soon as he stepped outside, Ken, the S-Rank Hunter (World Rank 99), descended from the sky. Ken was a massive warrior carrying the "Blade of Eternity." A fierce battle erupted between Ken and the Vampire. Realizing he couldn't defeat Ken and wanting to protect his grand plan, the Vampire fled into the shadows. Ken stood alone, watching the trail of smoke fade, wondering who the boy was that the Vampire feared so much.
