In an alley with deathly silence, there was only darkness aside from an insignificant amount of crimson light pouring on the sides of the alley, a beautiful but eerie looking crimson moon was hanging in the sky with an everlasting grandeur.
A shadow was moving with a great speed towards a certain street in East borough. Just a few hundred steps away from that apartment, the figure concealed by the shadows halted it's advancement, what came out of the shadow was a black robed person whose face is hidden by the long robe, in his right hand's ring finger, there was a ring which looked ordinary at first glance. But when one observe it carefully, one can see a little redness on it's black surface that looks like it's made of shadows.
The black robed man observed his surroundings before locking eye on a man walking on the other side of the road, that man's face was hidden with a black cloth and his steps were slightly distorted. The black robed man canan clearly sense an aura very similar to himself from this man, it means he's also a secret Supplicant and the one he's here for.
The black robed man started following the man through shadows. This black robed man's main purpose was to check this person who became a Secret Supplicant but he's not affiliated with the Aurora Order. He can even kill this person if he wants and retrieve the characteristics to gain merits. So the black robed man just wanted to silently follow this person, if he's not connected to any bigshot and not being monitored by anyone else, then he will kill the person.
Needless to say, the 1.8 metres tall person who was walking in a slightly distorted way was Phillip Spearson, and he's long known about being tailed. But still, he's walking towards a certain area not far from the factory district. He was walking like that just for fun to make the black robed person lower his gaurd even if it's just a little bit.
After at least half an hour of tailing, they reached another alley that was filled with garbage boxes, the black robed man discovered that Phillip does not have any sealed artifact, beonder item or even a gun with him, so decided to act and dispose the body of this person here. He came closer and was just a few steps away from Phillip when he raised a dagger with a green tip and silently aimed at Phillip's head before lunging forward to thrust the dagger from behind into the Phillip's head and complete the assassination.
He lunged towards Phillip as he activated the mighty blow ability came from the ring on his right hand. But just as he was about to reach Phillip's head, a very opressive feeling assaulted him which made his head go numb from pain and he fainted on the spot.
Wow.... So this death courting experiment wasn't fruitless, just as I have expected. Since my Heart of Madness can suppress the beyonder characteristics and even directly eliminate the corrupted ravings inside it and it's a vey high ranking item of The Hanged Man pathway, it can definitely suppress a someone from this pathway but, the amount of pain I've experienced was literally too much, if not for the fact that I've already experienced alot of mind numbing painful situations in my previous life, I might've fainted just like this guy. Hmmm.... Now let's deal with this dude.
I used a rope to bind this guy's hands and feets before dragging him towards the more dark area of the alley. Well... I can't get any useful information from him because these people simply don't know any important thing or would rather die instead of providing any information. Killing him would be best, heh heh..... I'll use the poisonous dagger he wanted to kill me with.
I picked up the dagger and thrusted it into the man's neck, thhe vitality of life left his body within seconds without any kind of retaliation. "I just became a beyonder to save myself from my predicament and you came here to kill me? Haha.... Look who's talking now and who's silent without any trace of life inside their body. Can't blame myself, you asked for it yourself".
The dagger was a beyonder weapon without any kind of negative effects, it's use is that it can penetrate hard defences and contains deadly poison on it's tip. I analysed it with the help of my Heart of Madness and found out that it has life of 6 months remaining in it. Then my gade was attracted by the ring on this guy's right hand. I picked it up and checked it. Damn..... What a great and useful sealed artifact.

Abilities: it can allow the user to have the abilities of a hunter and an assassin at the same time such as shadow concealment and movement, physical and perceptual enhancements, feather fall, mighty blow, heightened perception and great knowledge and ideas about hunting one's prey. It can be used for movements for 2 hours without any negative effects before taking 1 hour of cooling time.
Negative effects: if the mighty blow ability is used for more than 10 times a day, then the user might get infected with the thoughts of assassinating someone they as soon as possible. Failing in this task may cause the user to commit suicide. The movement ability will be temporarily become unavailable throughout the cooling time. Wearing it all the time may also result in the user making rash decisions without thinking too much.
Sealing method: One can usually wear this ring for all the time if they possess the Heart of Madness.
Hmmm... What kind of ignorant beyonder was this guy? He had this item and still failed. Hehe.... Actually, I'm too lucky that my guess was right about the suppression ability, I was able to use this ability and the negative effect of making rash decisions also helped me alot.
I even got 63 pounds and 15 soli from this guy's pockets. Then I happily disposed the corpse in a garbage box before putting it on fire and cleared my traces from here. Then I got back toy room, packed everything I had and cleared my any trace of being here before leaving the apartment.
It was already almost dawn so I decided to take a public carriage towards the bridge area. After paying the price of 3 penny, I descended from the carriage and rented a room in an apartment not far from Bravehearts bar for 5 soli a week. It was done on purpose of course, I can attend the beyonder gatherings more easily and can have a safe place if something unexpected happens.
It was around 6:30 in the morning and a few shops are open so I decided to spend some money and buy clothes, watch and a cane.
After getting breakfast for 2 soli and 3 pence, I walked into several shops and bought a black pant, white linen shirt, a pair of leather boots, two pair of socks, a black vest, a black coat, a neck tie and a silk top hat for an amount of 9 pounds, then I purchased a golden pocket watch with golden chain for 5 pounds and 15 soli with a cane made of ebony wood, inlaid with silver and as hard as iron, the cane was of the same kind which Klein bought after getting the job in Blackthorn security company. It costed 8 soli and the attire's an important part of making me look more of a gentleman infront of others.
Today, it's my first day for the job which I got in Cherwood borough. So after purchasing some more miscellaneous things which brought my money to 45 pounds 4 soli and 2 pence. I walked into my apartment room to rest for an hour at least because it's almost 7:30 am and my job will start at 10 am. This job is the second step of my plan which I've made after so much deliberation with the help of those mental abilities came from the Heart of Madness.
