Today was the day that class 2a was finally able to get their twentieth student. But before it could begin, Hayami Quick had to be the first to meet his new student, in a different room only Hayami was seen as he was sitting on a chair and from across the table he was looking at his twentieth student Whirl Azumaki. Hayami looked at the papers given by other teachers as it was also for her to sign and he looked at her and cleared his throat. "You understand why I chose you"
Whirl nodded "Indeed it's because of unique background as I am not from Japan"
"Correct, and another thing is you have quirk that revolves around wind, that was a reason that made you another good choice as with Lani's pathways are can provide all three types of help, offensive, defensive and support maneuvers" Hayami looked at the papers "but remember this that you have a target on your back by other classes as my class requires good coordination, and adaptation to any situation, do you understand?"
"I understand and if students feel jealous towards me, I will reason with them"
"That's good, but don't expect that everyone will act the same, just trust your classmates and they will trust you too"
Then when they left the room Whirl was wearing her school uniform and walked to the classroom. But Hayami was the first to go in and deliver the news to his students.
Everyone quiet down as Hayami cleared his throat "everyone today is the day that we have our twentieth student"
Everyone was excited to see who is the new student that will be joining them as second year students. But then when the doors opened Aoi's eyes suddenly widened in shock to see Whirl walking into the class. She was so stunned to speak as Whirl walked and stand beside Hayami as he started first "everyone meet your twentieth student, this is Whirl Azumaki please let her be included to her class" Hayami looked at Whirl "now its your turn"
Whirl nodded "yes Sensei" Hayami walked to his desk as Whirl continued her introduction. "Greeting everyone I am Whirl Azumaki, it is a pleasure to be a part of your class. I was transferred here from Europe; specifically somewhere in Saskatchewan. I previously heard that your class is unique as it was the only class that was missing a student, I hope I can provide support from my quirk called Hurricane I can create powerful vortex of wind and spiraling wind blades, it can also be used for great mobility and massive wind explosions, I hope this destructive power can be refined to help my teammates and rescue others"
Everyone's ears perked as they listened to Whirl explaining her quirk as it can be very helpful in many situations.
However, Reiko uses her interior to detect something from Whirl as something caught her attention as she looked human but Reiko cannot think of anything to explain what she was detecting. Reiko then raised her hand "Azumaki, what are your limits"
"That is a good question, if I over use my quirk then it will drain my energy to an extent" then Whirl looked at Aoi as she is raising her hand "I see it was unexpected of you to see me here, Aoi"
They all looked at Aoi. "Wait, you two have already met?"
"Yeah I on a walk at the city and met her, I'll be really honest that I was surprised to see her here"
"Your reaction is noticed" she walked to her desk and sat down at a desk that is near Aoi that is to her right, what are the odds. Whirl also sat near Senda to her left, Poller was behind her, and in front of her was Reiko. Then Whirl's first day of school officially started as her first day was to first write on an assignment she was given.
Though to their surprise Whirl was writing faster than anyone already finishing the first five questions with only analysing the questions, it seemed she was very prepared for this. Mizuno saw and worried that she may surpass her when the mid term ranking ever came up as Whirl looked very intelligent enough to surpass Mizuno and saw it as a challenge.
Then when it came down to training quirks, as now with a full twenty students they can properly do partner training sessions and proper sparring with pairs of two. But they had to address Whirl's abilities with her quirk as she shows how she can use her quirk to create a vortex around her body acting as a shield as she was facing Sachi and she was swept away into the vortex. They can see Sachi's body getting stretched and swirling around Whirl's vortex. "I give up! I give up, make it stop" with a wave of Whirl's hand the storm stopped and Sachi fell to the ground and retracts her mochi body back into her original size. Whirl approached Sachi "are you alright, I did not account for a strong amount of wind to stretch your body. Perhaps Uni's body may react the same like your's Muchi"
Uni shook her head and wave her hands giggle nervously "no thanks I'm good, I still gotta do my match with Toji"
"Understood, then when you are done fighting with Toji, we will test it" Uni sighs as it feels impossible to get away from Whirl's curious thoughts. Later Uni experienced the same thing after her fight with Toji as Uni was swirling around Whirl's vortex as her slinky limbs were being pulled around the vortex.
Then when Whirl was done fighting Uni as she fixed herself, tightening back her arms and legs. Goshi walked forward and approached Whirl, she noticed and notes that Goshi is obviously the strongest in class 2a as she can feel the difference in power, and experience as well as his threatening aura. While Goshi noted on who she defeated as she already defeated some of their strongest that were behind Goshi.
Poller was defeated by his large size as Whirl took advantage, Uni and Sachi were already explained, when Astral tried to blind her with a flash Whirl showed that she can use her wind as another sense, she defeated Blaze by making him overexert himself as Whirl was going faster with the wind and this also applies to Euro as he was brushed away despite trying to teleport with his dimension walk or phase through her attacks but her wind was powerful enough to push him away.
Goshi stood upon the arena standing proudly as he was grabbing the hilt of his sword that was hanging at his side. "I see you have fought everyone that is considered to be on my level, Azumaki"
Whirl nodded "indeed, and it is highly obvious that your the strongest in the class"
"You are correct" Goshi unsheath his sword "I trust you can also adapt as to why I am the strongest in class 2a"
Whirl raised both of her hands that started to emit wind "I understand, I doubt we'll hold back"
Goshi smiled "then show me what you got!" he pointed his sword at her and slashed, creating a sword beam toward Whirl. She dodged the attack and prepared her defensive maneuver, but Goshi was already ahead of her as that sword slash was a bait and Goshi dashed forward as it caught her off guard. Whirl managed to block his slash with a block by the wind, but the swing of his sword was more powerful than she anticipated and knows if she goes into close combat she will definitely lose and Goshi can specialize in both close range combat and long range combat. Whirl repelled herself away from Goshi as she tried to out maneuver him as she set up her wind field that allowed her to levitate off the ground and get the aerial advantage. Goshi smiled as he gripped his sword tightly as his sword glowed brightly, Whirl saw this stance and anticipated for Goshi's hidden technique sacred heart. However Goshi did not use the technique as he made a crescent moon sword slash curved that served to protect both sides of his body and can be angled. Whirl got hit and fell to the ground as the storm dispersed, Goshi sheathed his sword and approached Whirl "you did good Azumaki, you have a good reaction and good at changing your tactics" Goshi offered his hand towards Whirl, and she grabbed his hand. But for a moment Goshi felt something off when he touched her hand, he could not put it right or understand as it felt light. Goshi kept quiet as he put Whirl back on her feet, gave a nod to her and walked away.
Hayami then concluded today's class for everyone as when they walked out of the school, Reiko had her suspicious of her, Goshi trying to process what he felt. But for Whirl she kept her human identity intact during her fight with Goshi and will continue her mission to observe the process of heroes in the making.
