all of us sit down and catch our breath "well" I say "that was one hell of a fight but theres something weird that happened." viden looks at me and asks "what was it?" looking at him I spoke "well when we started fighting my heart started beating and this energy filled my body and when I attacked it was with far more force then normal." tyrik than speaks "oh thats normal most barbarians can do it you see there are three main types of fighters you have survivalists, spiritualists and shamans shamans use the energy from the area around them and gods spiritualists use the energy of captured souls and survivalists use there own energy. I am a shaman,viden is a spiritualist and you of course are a survivalist. do you understand?" nodding I ask "should we camp for tonight?" the rest of the group agrees after all it's dangerous to travel at night. Now that all our issues are resolved we fall asleep. waking up the next morning viden talks "i know of another settlement to the south but it will take another day or two to get there. I have done some trade with them so they should be friendly." pulling out a compass he points us in the correct direction and we start walking viden asks me "so that would be your first time using energy huh. So how was it? I remember my first time like it was yesterday. almost shot my teacher." I respond saying "well it was amazing to say the least. I felt like I could take on the whole world." The smiling viden laughs and says "well don't get too confident, don't want you dying on me." cracking a smile. Looking back I see Tyrik. He still seems to be talking to the air I'm tempted to ask but I'm not sure how he would respond and I also have more pressing matters to attend to. How did he know I was from another world? and does he know anything? well he seems like a trustworthy guy I'll ask him when we get to the settlement hopefully nothing goes awry. our group continues trekking until night night luckily no issues occur when we wake up viden says that we should be only half a day's journey away by now. before our trek continues a creature walks out from a nearby bush its the white creature from my first night as I prepare to fight viden casts a spell and eviscerates letting a tsk out of his mouth as we continue eventually we arrive a simple settlement with walls and rudimentary buildings stands before us walking into it a man approaches "hello may I ask who you are travelers?" responding viden pulls out a badge and shows a skull saying "I was told of this settlement recently and thought to come possibly even stay a while" responding the man says "well any friend of the dwarves is welcome I am lāndūle and the son of our chief Rālmtzar I shall lead you to a place to rest" lāndūle starts walking gesturing for us to follow. he leads us to a simple thatch hut and says "here shall be your abode one of the most advanced in the settlement" as its midday we decide to eat and then converse with the villagers before this I walk towards tyrik and ask "would you mind if we had a conversation somewhere a little more...descrete?" agreeing we walk behind on of the huts making sure no ones nearby by I ask "so how did you know I was from another world and is there a way to go back?" responding he says "well you simply didn't act like someone from this world viden is rather eccentric and much more similar to someone from earth but most people are very different. and to answer your second question, not that I am aware. although there is a possibility with a god's blood a certain ritual may be able to be performed but that's not proven and will take more research." replying I say "i see. well we should have a while to research other options" after our short conversation we regroup with viden as he introduces us to who he is talking to "this is Jyva they are a well known herbalist and doctor they have made several items to heal ailments its most impressive." "Wow," I respond "that's pretty interesting huh." before our conversation continues lāndūle appears an old man next to him he greets us again and speak "hi please do come along we have prepared a feast worthy of someone of your calibre." as he is about to rush of the old man punches him into the ground and looks at him before speaking "tsk the pure lack of courtesy is disappointing you mother must of raised you wrong" before looking at us he continues "hello I am rāltzmar the chief of this settlement and as my foolish son has already stated we have prepared a feast do come along." as he starts walking to the middle of the town where several tables are laid out filled with food, meat berries and drinks lining every section. As we all take our seats we all get ready to eat as rāltzmar stands up and begins a speech "to our guest of honour this feast is dedicat-" before he gets cut off by a loud crash as a gigantic beast appears rushing towards us. before anyone can react it had already trampled several innocents getting a better look I see its humongus and has tusks its body covered in white fur walking on all fours rushing in front of it as it starts charging again I harness my energy and as it hits me I get smashed into the nearby hut several bones surely broken slowly my consciousness disappears as I blink once twice and finally I fall asleep. in my slumber im in the abyss again the strange figure standing this time I see a small glow emanate from various parts of its body making it look like a star system as it still stands there I see another figure this one more responsive hes hooded and has two large black wings on his back but the wings there ruined and dishevelled decayed beyond repair a lantern in their hand with a bright glowing crystal inside. As I try to move towards him he turns to look at me and I awake.
