Priya was still in shock. The name "Arjun Mehta" kept echoing in her mind. She had never imagined that one day she would be standing so close to the most powerful man in the city.
Arjun was standing near the window. Outside, rainwater was flowing along the road, and the city lights were shining on it like a chessboard spread across the ground.
Priya hesitantly asked,
"But… why did you cancel such an important meeting for me?"

The pain in Priya's eyes slowly turned into anger. She shook her head firmly.

Arjun looked into her eyes and said,

Then he picked up a glass from the table and handed it to her.
"Drink some water. You're still weak."
Priya took the glass, but her heart was beating fast.
"Will you… allow me to stay here?"
There was a strange calmness in Arjun's eyes.
"I'm not just giving you a place to stay. I'm offering you a deal."
Priya looked surprised.
"A deal?"
Arjun nodded.
"For the next few months, you will stay here. Under my supervision."
Priya fell silent, caught between fear and curiosity.

Arjun's voice was steady.

Priya's heart skipped a beat.

Priya couldn't believe it.
