The room Kuya Angelo gave me was quiet.
Too quiet.
I sat on the edge of the bed staring at my phone.
No messages.
No calls.
My chest tightened.
I knew Keifer needed space.
But part of me still hoped he would message me.

I sighed and laid down, staring at the ceiling.

The house felt empty.
Keiren and Keigan noticed it immediately.
"Kuya… where's Ate Jay?" Keiren asked.
I stayed quiet.
Keigan frowned.
"Did you fight?"
I rubbed my forehead.
"It's complicated."
Keiren crossed his arms.
"You made her sad, didn't you?"
That sentence hit harder than I expected.
"I didn't mean to," I muttered.
Keigan sighed dramatically.
"You should just apologize."
Kids.
They made everything sound so simple.
Next Day – School
Jay didn't sit with us at lunch.
She sat alone near the courtyard.
The Section E boys noticed immediately.

I stared at the screen.
They weren't wrong.
Jay's POV
School felt strange.
Everyone looked at me with concern.
But I avoided Keifer the whole day.
Not because I wanted to.
But because I didn't want to make things harder for him.
After classes I quietly left.
Back to Angelo's house.
Keifer's POV
That night I couldn't focus on anything.
Not homework.
Not games.
Not even the boys' endless arguments.
Jay's words kept replaying in my head.
"I was scared things would change."
And they did.
But not because she lied.
Because I pushed her away.
I stood up suddenly.
Keigan looked up from the couch.
"Where are you going?"
I grabbed my keys.
"To fix something."

Jay's POV
I was sitting on the balcony when I heard the doorbell.
Kuya Angelo opened the door.
Then I heard a voice.
"Is Jay here?"
My heart stopped.
Keifer.
Angelo looked at me knowingly.
"You should talk to him."
Keifer's POV
When Jay walked into the living room, she looked surprised.
And nervous.
"Keifer?"
For a moment neither of us spoke.
Then I finally said it.
"I'm sorry."
Her eyes widened.
"I shouldn't have reacted like that."
"You trusted me enough to tell me the truth… and I made you feel like you did something wrong."
Jay shook her head quickly.
"No… I should have told you earlier."
"I was scared."
"I know."
There was a long silence.
Then I said quietly,
"Jay… your past doesn't change anything for me."
"You're still you."
"Mira… Jay… whatever name you use."
"You're still the same person."
Her eyes filled with tears.
"You're not angry anymore?"
I sighed.
"I was never angry about who you are."
"I was hurt because I thought you didn't trust me."
Jay stepped closer.
"I do trust you."
"I just didn't know how to tell you."
The Moment
For a few seconds we just stood there.
Then Keifer laughed softly.
"You know something?"
"What?"
"I think it's pretty cool that you speak Hindi."
Jay blinked.
"That's your reaction?"
"Well yeah."
"Also…"
He smirked slightly.
"I have to meet this Ananya now."
Jay laughed for the first time in days.
And before she realized it…
Keifer pulled her into a hug.
A real one.
The kind that fixed everything.
Keifer's POV
Holding her again felt right.
Like everything had finally gone back to normal.
Maybe even better than before.
"Come home," I said quietly.
Jay looked up.
"To the Watson house."
"The boys miss you."
She smiled.
"And you?"
I rolled my eyes dramatically.
"Unfortunately… yes."
She laughed.

Aries:
Did you two fix it??
Ci-N:
If you're still fighting I'm personally coming over.
Keifer:
Relax.
Jay:
We're okay now 🙂

FINALLY.
Felix:
Peace restored.

That took long enough.
Yuri:
Good. Because Section E drama was exhausting.
Ci-N:
Next time just communicate.
Keifer:
Shut up.
Final Scene – Watson Mansion
When Jay walked into the house again, Keiren and Keigan ran toward her.
"Ate Jay!!"
They hugged her tightly.
Keigan looked at Keifer suspiciously.
"You apologized, right?"
Keifer sighed.
"Yes."
Jay laughed softly.
For the first time in days…
Everything felt peaceful again.
But deep down, Keifer knew something.
Jay's story had only opened a new chapter.
And soon…
India would become part of their lives too.
