Jay's POV – Angelo's House
The first night felt endless.
Books covered the table.
Notes everywhere.
My cousin Angelo walked in holding coffee.
"You're still awake?"
"I just started studying."
"Jay it's midnight."
"I know."
"You'll collapse."
"I won't."
But the truth was…
I had already decided.
No sleep.
No breaks.
Only studying.
Exam Day 1 – School
Section E looked half dead.
Felix dropped his head on the desk.
"I forgot everything."
Calix rolled his eyes.
"You say that every time."
"Because it's true!"
Josh grabbed my arm.
"Jay please explain the last chapter."
"You had a week."
"I procrastinated!"
Cin laughed.
"Classic Josh."
Keifer's POV
Jay looked tired.
Too tired.
"Did you sleep?" I asked quietly.
"Yes."
She looked away.
She was lying.
But the teacher walked in.
"Start your exam."
Exam Day 2
"WE'RE GOING TO FAIL!" Felix yelled.
"Speak for yourself," Denzel said.
"I am speaking for myself!"
Cin whispered to Jay.
"Bestie are you sleeping properly?"
"Yes," Jay said quickly.
Keifer stared at her suspiciously.
Exam Day 3
Jay looked pale.
Her hands trembled slightly.
"Jay," Keifer whispered.
"Hmm?"
"You look exhausted."
"I'm fine."
"You're not."
"Focus on your exam."
Angelo's House – Night
3 AM.
My eyes burned from reading.
Angelo walked in again.
"You're still studying?"
"Yes."
"You haven't slept."
"I can sleep after exams."
He sighed.
"You're pushing yourself too hard."
But I kept studying.
Exam Day 5 – Final Exam
The bell rang.
Felix jumped up.
"WE'RE FREE!"
Josh hugged Drew.
"We survived!"
Cin hugged me.
"Bestie we did it!"
Keifer walked toward me.
"You're coming home tonight."
I smiled weakly.
"Yes."
But my body felt… heavy.
