Jay's POV
The night felt strangely calm after everything that had happened.
Keifer and I walked into the house together. The moment the door closed behind us, he leaned against it and crossed his arms.
"Well," he said.
"Well what?" I asked.
"Well… my wife is secretly a gang leader."
I sighed and walked toward the couch.
"Are you going to repeat that the whole night?"
"Yes."
I sat down and looked at him.
"You're not angry?"
He walked toward me slowly.
"I told you already. I'm shocked."
He sat beside me.
"But there is one thing that bothers me."
I raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
"You trusted all those people with your secret."
I frowned slightly.
"They've been my family for years."
"And I didn't know anything."
His voice wasn't angry.
Just… hurt.
My chest tightened.
"Keifer…"
He sighed and rubbed his face.
"I'm not blaming you."
"I didn't hide it because I didn't trust you."
"Then why?"
I looked down at my hands.
"Because I wanted a normal life with you."
He stayed silent.
"I didn't want you to look at me like I'm dangerous."
He chuckled softly.
"Too late for that."
I punched his arm lightly.
"Keifer."
"I'm kidding."
Then he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.
"You know what the funniest part is?"
"What?"
"You were secretly protecting me all these years."
I smiled slightly.
"Yes."
"And I had no idea."
"Yep."
He leaned back and looked at the ceiling.
"Unbelievable."
Keifer's POV
I still couldn't believe everything she had told me.
Jay.
The quiet girl who used to sit beside me in class.
Was secretly stronger than most of the fighters I knew.
I glanced at her.
She looked calm now.
Like the whole fight earlier meant nothing to her.
"You know something?" I said.
"What?"
"You looked terrifying tonight."
She laughed.
"Terrifying?"
"Yes."
"Good."
"Good?"
"Yes. People should be scared."
I shook my head.
"You're unbelievable."
Then suddenly I remembered something.
"Wait."
She looked at me.
"What?"
"Section E."
Her eyes widened slightly.
"Oh."
"Yes."
"They saw everything."
We both went silent.
Felix.
Claix.
Edrix.
Kit.
Drew.
Blaster.
Every single one of them had seen her fight.
And seen her as the leader.
Jay sighed.
"This is going to be a problem."
I laughed.
"A problem?"
"Yes."
"They're never going to shut up about it."
Jay's POV
The next morning proved exactly that.
The moment Keifer and I entered Section E, the entire classroom went silent.
Then suddenly—
"JAY IS HERE!"
Felix shouted dramatically.
Everyone turned toward us.
Claix stood up immediately.
"Wait wait wait wait."
Edrix crossed his arms.
"We need answers."
Kit leaned on a desk.
"Lots of answers."
Rory stared at me like he had seen a ghost.
"Did we imagine last night?"
Drew shook his head.
"Nope."
Yuri pointed at me.
"She knocked out fifteen people."
Blaster nodded seriously.
"I counted."
I sighed.
Keifer looked completely amused.
"Good luck," he whispered to me.
"Traitor," I muttered.
Felix jumped onto a desk.
"Attention everyone!"
Cin threw a pen at him.
"Get down idiot."
But Felix ignored her.
"I have one question."
He looked directly at me.
"Jay… are you secretly some kind of action movie character?"
The whole class burst out laughing.
I rubbed my forehead.
"Can we please not talk about this?"
Claix shook his head.
"Absolutely not."
Edrix nodded.
"You fought like a professional."
Kit leaned forward.
"How long have you been training?"
Denzel added,
"And why didn't you tell us?"
Everyone started talking at once.
"Are you stronger than Keifer?"
"Do you know martial arts?"
"Can you teach us?"
"Can you beat Claix?"
"Hey!" Claix protested.
I looked at Keifer helplessly.
He was leaning against the desk, enjoying the chaos.
"You're enjoying this," I accused.
He smirked.
"A little."
Keifer's POV
Watching Jay deal with Section E was hilarious.
She looked like she wanted to disappear.
Felix leaned closer to her desk.
"So Jay…"
"Yes Felix?"
"Are you secretly a superhero?"
The whole class laughed again.
Jay buried her face in her hands.
"Please stop."
Claix grinned.
"Too late."
Edrix looked at me.
"Keifer."
"Yes?"
"You knew about this?"
I shook my head.
"I found out yesterday."
The class went silent.
Drew's eyes widened.
"Wait… you didn't know either?"
"Nope."
Kit whistled.
"That's crazy."
Yuri nodded.
"Your wife is full of surprises."
I glanced at Jay.
She looked embarrassed but also slightly amused now.
Felix leaned back in his chair.
"Well."
He crossed his arms dramatically.
"This officially makes Keifer and Jay the most dangerous couple in school."
Blaster nodded.
"Power couple."
The class cheered.
"POWER COUPLE!"
Jay groaned.
"Please don't call us that."
Too late.
They were already chanting it.
Jay's POV
By lunch time the nickname had spread through the whole class.
"Power couple."
Every time someone said it I wanted to hide under a table.
Keifer on the other hand seemed to love it.
We sat together in the cafeteria.
Felix sat across from us.
"Jay."
"What?"
"Teach me that move you used yesterday."
"What move?"
"The one where you dropped three people in two seconds."
Keifer laughed.
"She's not training you."
Claix leaned over the table.
"Why not?"
"Because you'll use it to start fights."
Claix shrugged.
"Fair point."
Edrix looked at Jay curiously.
"So you've been hiding this for years."
"Yes."
"And now you're leading that gang."
"Yes."
Kit smiled.
"That's actually kind of cool."
I looked at Keifer.
"See? They're never letting this go."
He smirked.
"I told you."
Felix raised his hand suddenly.
"One more question."
Everyone looked at him.
He pointed between Keifer and me.
"So… which one of you would win in a fight?"
The entire table went silent.
Then everyone leaned forward.
Waiting.
I looked at Keifer.
He looked back at me.
Then he grinned.
"Well…"
Jay raised an eyebrow.
"You want to find out?"
The whole table exploded with excitement.
Claix shouted,
"YES!"
Felix jumped up.
"FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"
Edrix facepalmed.
"This class is insane."
Keifer leaned closer to me and whispered,
"Relax."
I whispered back,
"I am relaxed."
Then he smiled slightly.
"Good."
Because deep down both of us knew something.
Whatever happened next…
We were facing it together.
And that made us stronger than ever.
