Section E: Graduation Delay
Keifer's POV:
The classroom buzzed with chatter as I leaned back in my chair, glancing at Jay. She had her head lightly on my shoulder, calm and composed, completely unfazed by the chaos around us. I couldn't help but smile. Even in the middle of Section E's usual drama, she had this… calm presence that grounded me.
"Morning, wifey," I whispered, brushing my thumb across her hand.
"Morning," she murmured, a faint smile on her lips. "You're unusually quiet today."
"I'm enjoying the calm before the storm," I replied, smirking.
Before I could say more, Sir Alvin walked in, his expression grim, and the entire class immediately quieted.
"Class," he announced, holding up a folder, "I have an important announcement. Graduation has been delayed for three months."
The room erupted.
"Three months?!" Felix yelled dramatically.
Claix groaned. "Why?"
"There are administrative issues and infrastructure repairs," Sir Alvin explained. "All students must attend school during these three months."
Jay's POV:
I leaned slightly closer to Keifer, whispering, "Looks like we're stuck here a little longer."
He chuckled softly. "Means more time with you."
I rolled my eyes but felt my heart flutter. "You're impossible."
"And you love it," he teased, brushing his fingers across my hand.
Even as the rest of Section E continued their protests, we shared a quiet smile, knowing this little bubble of ours was untouchable for now.
School Romance
Jay's POV:
During lunch, we found a small corner where we could sit together, hidden from the majority of Section E's prying eyes. Keifer leaned close, his hand brushing mine.
"I still can't get over the fight yesterday," he whispered.
I smirked. "You mean the one where you realized I'm unstoppable?"
His lips twitched into a smile. "Exactly that one."
"You make it sound like I'm a superhero," I teased, nudging him lightly.
"You practically are," he murmured, his eyes dark with intensity.
Keifer's POV:
I couldn't help but stare. She was calm, confident, and utterly… perfect. And she was mine. I leaned closer, whispering in her ear, "And always mine."
She shivered lightly. "Don't forget it," she whispered back.
I felt a surge of possessiveness, knowing that while everyone around us watched, she only belonged to me. Section E noticed, of course. Felix muttered to Claix, "They're… unstoppable together."
Watson House: Intense Moments
Keifer's POV:
Evening at Watson House was quieter. The golden sunlight streamed through the large windows. I approached Jay, taking her hand.
"You know," I murmured, brushing her hair back, "I still can't believe how incredible you are."
Jay's POV:
I raised an eyebrow. "Incredible? Really?"
"Yes," he said softly, closing the distance. "In every way."
Our lips met, tentative at first, then urgent. Every touch, every glance, carried the weight of battles fought, secrets kept, and nights spent apart.
A soft buzz interrupted us. Keifer checked his phone: London.
"Investor news," he murmured, hiding the tension from me.
Jay frowned. "Everything okay?"
I could see his calm exterior, but I knew him—he was handling something huge without telling me.
London Crisis
Keifer's POV:
Later that night, the official message came: an investor in London threatened to pull out from Watson Empire. A withdrawal could cause massive financial loss.
Maria, my assistant, briefed me quickly. "Sir, the situation requires your immediate attention in London."
I gritted my teeth. "I'll leave tonight."
Glancing at Jay, I said, "Handle it here, I need to fly."
Jay's POV:
I nodded, keeping my expression calm. "Go. You've got this."
Even though he didn't know, I had already started the process to save his company. Watson Enterprise would remain stable—even if he had no idea it was me behind it.
K&J Enterprise: Secretly Saving Watson
Jay's POV:
I activated K&J Enterprise's resources, coordinating the investment to save Watson. Funds were transferred, contracts signed, all timed to perfection.
Keifer's POV (in London):
Minutes later, my tablet buzzed: K&J Enterprise has invested to save Watson Empire.
I froze. "Who…?" I whispered. Maria mirrored my shock. The CEO's name was hidden.
The timing, the precision… only someone extraordinary could do this.
Could it be Jay? The thought hit me like a thunderclap. She had access to my schedules, knew exactly when to act.
Gala Reveal
Jay's POV:
A week later, the gala was held. Section E had been invited; many now executives themselves, curious about this legendary CEO.
I walked onto the stage in a stunning formal gown. Keifer's hand rested lightly on my waist, a subtle reminder of our bond.
"Ladies and gentlemen," I began, voice steady and commanding, "it is my honor to officially take the role of CEO of K&J Enterprise. Our vision is to lead responsibly, innovate, and build partnerships that thrive."
Executives murmured approval. Cameras flashed.
Then I saw Angelo. Shock, anger, disbelief—he froze.
"Jay… you hid this from me?" he hissed.
I smiled politely. "Some battles are fought quietly, Angelo."
A young man leaned forward, flirtatiously. "The mysterious CEO… didn't know you were single."
Keifer's POV:
I tightened my grip on Jay's waist. "Jay is taken. She's mine," I whispered.
She pressed slightly against me, smiling softly. "Always."
Section E stared in awe. Felix muttered, "They're… unstoppable together."
Jay's POV:
I turned back to the audience. "To those concerned about recent investments: every step has been taken to ensure stability and growth. Our partners, including Watson Enterprises, now have our full support."
Keifer's eyes widened. He was processing everything: the investment, K&J's hidden CEO, and me.
Post-Gala
Keifer's POV:
Later, as the gala ended, I pulled Jay aside. "We need to talk. Everything."
Jay's POV:
"I will," I whispered, resting my head against his chest. "Tomorrow… Section E at school. And at home, I'll explain everything to you."
Keifer's POV:
My wife—the hidden CEO of K&J Enterprise—had saved Watson without telling me. My pride, awe, and jealousy mingled into a whirlwind of emotions.
Jay's POV:
"I did what was necessary. You were busy. I made sure the company was safe," I whispered.
He held me tighter. "You really are something else," he murmured.
