Section E: The Interrogation
Jay's POV:
The morning sun streamed through the classroom, highlighting the expectant faces of Section E. Claix, Felix, Edrix, Eman, Mayo, Kit, David, Cin, Rory, Drew, Josh, Denzel, Yuri, and Blaster were all seated, their eyes trained on me. The moment I stepped into the room, it was clear: they had waited all night for answers.
Felix was the first to break the silence. "Jay… what's going on? CEO of K&J Enterprise? And you saved Watson? Explain everything!"
I chuckled softly. "Alright, alright… calm down, everyone. I'll explain. But you'll need to listen carefully."
Keifer leaned against the wall, his arms crossed, looking more curious than angry. I caught his gaze and gave him a small smile. He was trying to mask it, but I could see the storm of emotions inside him—pride, awe, a little jealousy, and so much love.
Keifer's POV:
Watching her, I felt that familiar mix of awe and disbelief. She had kept something monumental hidden from everyone—including me. My heart pounded in my chest. She wasn't just the girl I loved; she was a force of nature.
I walked closer to her, whispering, "Don't leave anything out."
"I won't," she replied softly. "But let me start from the beginning."
Jay's POV:
"When I first came to the Philippines," I began, looking around the classroom, "I faced a lot of challenges. You all know about my past in India—my stepfather, my anger, my fights. Back then, Marco saw potential in me and introduced me to a group that trained me, taught me to control my strength, my skills. They also helped me survive… and thrive."
Claix raised an eyebrow. "Wait… you mean Marco? And Stella? From your past gang?"
I nodded. "Yes. They were my friends, my mentors. They trained me in ways that no one else could. I became the most efficient after my mentor. But I left all of that behind when I came here, because… because my life changed."
Drew leaned forward, whispering to Kit, "I can't believe this… she was living a double life."
I ignored the whispers and continued. "Over the years, I built K&J Enterprise. Undercover, yes. No one knew a female was running it. And now… I became CEO officially, not just for me, but to protect people I care about. Including Keifer and his company."
Keifer's POV:
Her words hit me like a wave. She… had been secretly running a massive company, and she had used it to save my Watson Empire without even telling me. My chest tightened. I wanted to be angry, and yet I was overwhelmed with pride. She had done this all for me—quietly, efficiently, perfectly.
I caught her hand under the table, squeezing it gently. "You… you saved my company?" I whispered.
"Yes," she said calmly. "When you were in London, facing that crisis… I acted. Watson is safe. Your company didn't lose anything."
My mind raced. The girl I knew—my Jay—had just saved my company without me even knowing. And she had done it flawlessly. I felt both awe and a strange sense of vulnerability. How had I never realized her true power?
Section E POV:
Mayo, who had been silent until now, finally spoke. "So… all this time, you were the hidden CEO? And you just… invested in Watson to save it? Why didn't you tell anyone?"
I looked at him. "Because timing matters. Some battles are fought in silence. You don't reveal everything at once. People panic if they know too soon."
Rory crossed his arms. "And Keifer? He didn't know either?"
I shook my head. "No. He had to focus on the crisis in London. I couldn't risk his attention being divided."
Felix's jaw dropped. "She… she's a legend."
Edrix muttered, "Unstoppable is the word."
Watson House: Emotional Confrontation
Keifer's POV:
That evening, back at the Watson house, I couldn't contain myself. Jay was seated on the couch, looking calm, but I could see the tension in her eyes. I paced around, processing everything. She had built a company, saved mine, and done it all without a word to me.
"You…" I said, finally, stopping in front of her. "You saved Watson. And… you're CEO of K&J Enterprise?"
She looked up at me, soft but firm. "Yes. And I did it because I promised myself long ago—I would protect you, and everyone important to you."
I shook my head, feeling a mix of pride, disbelief, and love. "You… you didn't even let me help? You just… took it all on yourself?"
"I wanted you to focus on London," she said quietly. "It was your responsibility. And mine to protect you and your company from the background."
I sank next to her, taking her hand. "I… I'm in awe of you. And jealous at the same time."
She smiled, resting her head on my shoulder. "You're allowed to be jealous. You're mine."
I leaned in, capturing her lips in a slow, deep kiss. All the stress, the tension, the secrets… they all melted away. For a few moments, it was just us.
