The change is in everything the cloth touches now.

She closed the log. She had the Finding's ninth revision to begin planning and the ninth contributor's four months of Resonant Mirror Path data to integrate into the theoretical framework and a letter to Wei Guanghan that would occupy the theoretical work for the rest of the year. She had the correspondence.

Outside, in the Second Vault Heaven's lower cultivation community, practitioners were depositing their practice traces into a medium that had changed, reading the traces in a medium that had changed, building cultivation histories in a fabric that had been altered by what had entered the deep substrate three years and one month ago and was still entering.
