Anisha didn't want to break down in front of the guard so she pushed the nearest door and went in.
"Your highness…" The guard called.
Anisha opened the door having made sure she forced a smile and cleaned off the tears that had formed as well as clearing her throat.
"Don't you think it's quite unfair? You missing out on having fun and having to guard me?"Anisha said, "You have my permission, I won't tell Nhel. Go join them."
Anisha wanted to be alone, but she also did it because she truly pitied him. It was not like she was in some form of dangerous place.
There was hesitation in his expression, but Anisha didn't want to bother with him so she shut the door.
When she faced forward, it was pitch black with only minimal reflection.
She furrowed. What happened to the candles?
Her hands reached back for the door but a hand wrapped over her mouth all of sudden.
