Chapter 62 - question I need answered asap

So, at the point we are in the fic compared to how the rest of season 2 of Euphoria unfolds, most of it won't align. There are a few topics left to cover, but if I continued with canon, it wouldn't make sense. So, the question is, should I just continue with the music theme and use the Euphoria characters, or should I try to continue following the show until season 3 and see what happens in the show? Season 3 comes out in a few weeks. If you're awake, please answer. I'm currently writing.
