"We've arrived, Sir." The voice of my driver alerted me and I immediately recollected myself.
Ever since I dropped Kalia off, I couldn't help but think about her and how she was faring. What if her family had decided to attack her? or worse, beat her up to a pulp for spending the night at my place.
I know that I'm not supposed to think the worse and that they might actually not result to that but I still couldn't help but get worried.
They had done much harm than good to her so I wouldn't be surprised if they went ahead to do worse because judging from everything that she had gone through in that house, it's quite obvious that she's not loved by any of them and it showed.
Makes me wonder how anyone could be so cruel? And to think that Callum was in on everything that happened.
I never expected such attitude from him. I know that we don't see eye to eye but still, I expected him to do better.
